You don't
No. It's a hooded jacket, that's the only resemblance.
You don't
No. It's a hooded jacket, that's the only resemblance.
But the jacket is the same color and looks of the same material.
There has to be reasonably priced Smersh webbing.
?
There is not reasonable priced Smersh.
Nope.
Well in terms of smersh prices, it would be affordable to buy one at this website and build it: http://www.redforces.com/catalog/ind...ba2c4aaq9687r1
Although I've never ordered from them and I don't know if anyone has.
Guys.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT buy from soviet-power or sovietarmysurplus.
Please.
Oh GOD please.
What happened?
uhm.. explain pls
Yeah what happened
I was going to buy a 6b3 off of ebay instead of getting that m249 because my helmet calls me at night... And I can't sleep so ima finish the damn afghan loadout so i was looking at the afghanka at soviet-power....
Well, my order from soviet-power sent me the wrong model rucksack and a gasmask with no bag or extras.
Fff
Where will I get an afghanka now
Red alliance is your safest bet. Besides ebay.
what happen, they send you a box of russian honey badgers?
Arn't honey badgers ment to be those little badass muddafuckers that scare off lions in africa dispite the lion being about ten times the size of the badger?
http://www.red-alliance.net/forum/in...p?topic=3885.0
Read it and weep.
Yeah fuck that website, he scammed me out of basically half my order and I'm not ordering from there again. I'll stick to red-alliance. Whoever owns soviet-power (Vlad?) is a capitalist pigdog.
How hot do gorkas get? Thinking about getting one along with some SMERSH for when that glorious KWA AKR-74 comes out. Just dont want to die from overheating. They look warm.
they're mountain uniforms so probs warm as hec
For Fall and Winter, their fine. In Summer, go with a KZS suit or something.
You're better off getting an Izlom or KLMK suit.
From my experience, They get pretty hot a sweaty under them in the summer time. If you don't wear a shirt under them it's not so bad. And yes, they're warm, and block winter wind very well! But there's nothing insulating between you and the elements. It's basicly wearing a big, thick, cotton jacket.
Bumping this thread with a bit of content I guess.
I'm working through the Russian Photos thread of MP and I'm saving some of the better shots. I'm also thinking of doing a section for Russian weapons and going through different airsoft brands and such, anyone interested?
Here's a preview of some of the pics, most of them are fairly modern with a few Soviet-era pics:
http://imgur.com/a/ytpjw
they're still uploading atm, 116 pictures total for now.
Good bump. I think I will help you with that.
Alright, I have Flora gear. What vest and hat should I get for it?
6sh92 in flora, obviously a flora hat
Edited:
or flora 6sh104
Well, you really cant find those in anything but PKM now.
VAY DAY VAY
redalliance
quite a few ppl sell it
then get a pkm and buy the pkm 104 faggot
I tried already. Errebody sold out :(
Anyone have that EU size chart thing? I want to order my Partizan Gorka and SMERSH, but idk how the sizes work for the Gorka
:wtc:
what I'm thinking is I'll will have the op categorized like this:
->general info (basically what I have now)
->guns
-->rifles
-->smgs
-->pistols
->gear
-->helmets
-->vests
-->etc
for guns there will be something like
gun
who uses it (what units), how common it is, some pictures
airsoft brands that make it
mini review of each
for gear we could do something similar, although most russian gear that airsofters use is issue stuff.
I'll start on it tonight, or tomorrow probably then I'll get you guys to help me with certain stuff
find kill's post about the K6-3/altyn and add it in there
ok so I'm going to slowly start adding stuff
if you have any russian guns/gear, make a post with a small review/writeup on it. only do one per post though.
uh do gear reviews warrant it's own thread?
i could do a review of all my rossia gear when it comes in
you can make a whole new thread with a full review if you want, or if theyre smaller people can just post them
Since im not to sure what they wore in 9th company, can someone give me links of the things i need for one? Also is it possible to find thos Soviet tanker helmets
lifchiks
many lifchiks
'90s Naval Infantry Vest
check out those bros chilling in their naval infantry vests
What does it hold?
So right off the bat those four large pouches in the middle are 5.45mm mag pouches, capable of holding up to 2 74 mags (maybe 47/M mags too, haven't tried). Mine can fit one comfortably, but needed some stretching to fit two. They are secured using chicom-style wooden toggles, which is both awesome and really shitty when you need to open the pouches quickly using sossidge fingres
In between the pouches we have eight elastic straps, which are used to hold 30mm flares as seen in the picture (I run dummy paper flares in mine) or four knives if you're just that kind of person
We also have two smaller pouches on the side of the mag pouches (large grenades? dunno, never used them) and four grenade pouches directly below those, with webbing for belts (use one, or half your vest will flap around in the air and you'll look retarded)
On the other side (thx soviet-propaganda!) we have a large pack with purple waterproof lining (it is a marine vest after all) and two smaller storage pouches on either side. Put your hydration carriers and hpa rigs in there, I dunno
The entire system is secured with two buckles and a shitton of straps. Mine is a little loose, but I'm terrible at adjusting these things so w/e
The bottom of the backpack, the loose grenade pouches, and two additional mounts (those smaller flaps of green next to the backpack) give you plenty of room to stuff belts into (you NEED one with this vest though)
I think it's a pretty nice vest, comfortable once you get used to it. Obviously it needs to be broken in, but that's with basically everything
So who uses it?
-Naval Infantry, 1st-2nd Chechen Wars
yeah
What should you wear with it?
Anything around in the time period, like VSR, KLMK, Rastr, etc.
Where get?
Skippers for $150 (America shipping) (probably out of stock FOREVER though)
Soviet Propaganda for $140 (Rossia shipping)
