that fish-head can get annoying at times, but I'll admit he did serve some pretty decent comedic relief

One thing is for sure, he won't be forgotten. Neelix helped us through thick and thin, and for that I thank him, he was and always will be remembered as a great addition to our crew. Thank you neelix.

But it happens every year (assuming Earth years), and since he went through it in 2304, that means the closest year to now it should happen is...

The cool thing about the original which made it impressive was how far beyond its time was. Things we take for granted like Uhura (black chick), Chekov (Russian guy with heritage that ties in to what would of been soviet union) being treated as equals was unheard of back when it first came out. It also supported a socialist/true communist like government which was practically suicide for any show to portray positively back then. Don't forget that Cell phones and Vital monitors where inspired by that show. I'd have to say for its time it was the most impressive Star Trek.

Also that Episode where they had Good Vs. Evil with Abraham Lincoln on there side was hilarious.

Also best scene ever in Voyager

I can agree with this, what made it special and groundbreaking back then though doesn't necessarily hold true to today though, which is why it feels somewhat dated. it was definitely revolutionary though.

I watched the first part of a two-parter episode of Enterprise today which I've seen a few times but I've never seen the second half. Sucks that it's a Friday since that means it won't be on until Monday by which time I would have forgotten to watch it :saddowns:

I have another crazy theory about the 2009 movie if you guys want to hear:
The planet Delta Vega has never been mentioned or appeared in Star Trek before so it's odd that a planet so close to Vulcan would just be there with no mentions before. Well maybe since the black holes in this movie seem to send things back in time (which I have another crazy theory about by the way!) could it be possible that    once Vulcan got destroyed, the little pieces of it went back in time, and formed Delta Vega   . Explaining why it does exist in the movie but not in the original timeline.

Or it could just be a planet that existed and was never mentioned until the Alternate Reality in Star Trek XI.

Actually, Delta Vega existed in TOS, however briefly and poorly.

And it wasn't in the Vulcan system. Retcons off to starboard!

Watch DS9 from Season 4 to the end. That's good too. Especially that last 8 episode mini-arc.

What's wrong with watching it from S1 to the end?
S1 wasn't too great, sure, but it got better towards the end... and S2 has some fantastic Cardassian episodes, introduces you to the Maquis, and has a brilliant finale.

And S3 started off quite good, going to be watching more later on.

The whole Maquis thing just irritated me.

DS9 and VOY were both miles better when they binned them off.
