RDJ is still in-character even outside the filming.
He doesn't drop character until after the dvd commentary.

Actually, was that Hawkeye in the Thor movie?
How are they going to explain his appearance in the movie?
    Possible Hawkeye:The Other Avenger
Yes Hawkeye was the guy on the crane in Thor. I assumed that was kind of obvious.

    Edited:

[release]Tony Stark to Loki: "Let's do a head count. We've got a couple master assassins (Cuts to Black Widow and Hawkeye on a bridge next to a crashed car), a demigod (Cuts to Thor looks up menacingly, then we see him jumping in slow motion swinging his hammer at Captain America), and a living legend who kinda lives up to the legend (Cuts to who we see looking at his new suit and jumping away from an explosions). And you, big fella, have managed to piss off every single one of them."

Loki rebuts: “I have an army.”

Tony Stark replies: “We have a Hulk".

    Short clip of Hulk roaring.[/release]
I just came and shat at the same time.

Hopefully this will be the Citizen Kane of Marvel films. How long were they leading up to the Avengers?

I had a dream I finally saw this movie, and all it was was a lead-up to a sequel! They didn't even fight anyone! Needless to say, I woke up more pissed off than I have in a long time

I have a terrible gut feeling that your dream will come true. The lead-up part anyway.

It's a shame that I only care about four of those, and not for any good reason. Thor, captain america and bowman mcsunglasses I couldn't care less about, Black Widow only because I thinki I could rub one out to Scarlett Johansson during the course of the movie, Nick Fury only because he's played by Samuel L Snakesonaplane Jackson, Hulk because he's hulk and is therefore awesome, and Iron man because I love RDJ and the first Iron Man. Still, all of them should be entertaining. Except for the guy with the bow. Is he meant to be there or did they pencil him in by mistake?

Only one I care about is Iron Man, and Fury due to the actor. I guess you can't really go wrong with Hulk fucking shit up either, but the rest I don't give 2 fucks about.

Also might as well post this here: http://screenrant.com/iron-man-3-sha...schrad-104711/
The studio was not happy with the direction Iron Man 2 took. Iron Man 3 will not be another “two men in iron suits fighting each other” film. Instead, it will be more like a Tom Clancy-thriller, with Iron Man fighting real world villians.
Iron Man 3 will have more of a Tom Clancy style of approach, which is pretty much exactly what I'd like a superhero movie to be.

I was kind of dissapointed with iron man 2, it was very entertaining but it was just a set-up for, like they said, a bunch of mech-filled fights. I found it much more thrilling when he was 'shoosting' the guys in that small village flying into the air or out-running the jets.

THQ seems to have gotten the rights for an Avengers game tie-in of some sorts. There was actually a licensing conference awhile back where someone who was present mentioned THQ was one of the companies there so it isn't much of a surprise, and I'd guess Marvel aren't too satisfied with Segas shit. But anyway, some staff in Australia who got laid off released this footage which seems to show and confirm that the Skrulls are the villains even though we've guessed for awhile.

The character designs for Captain America and Thor look really different than what we've seen in film so I guess the Skrull designs will be different too, but it's interesting to see anyway.

There's some more photos with the whole gang together but only Loki and Thor in costume (unless they're dressing casual for whatever reason) here: http://www.celebuzz.com/2011-09-02/t...engers-on-set/

I'm not so sure if I like that Captain America costume. While it might be correct compared to the comics, it's not something that fits so well in a movie. I think it might just be the bright colors.

    Stan Lee posted:
Oh, Joss is wonderful, I was watching him direct. He knows just what to do, he knows just how to do it. He doesn't get flustered. Hes good with the actors, hes good with the technicians; hes just a good guy. I was very impressed with him; I've always been, bit seeing him in action that way. It's one of the reasons that the movie is gonna do so well.

There was only one thing - when I was doing my cameo for The Avengers, after the third take, he asked could I take off my glasses because somehow the flash of the floodlights were hitting the lens and there was a glare. So I did my cameo without wearing my glasses - so the chances are you won't even recognize me. That was the only decision he made that I felt should'n't have made (laughs) He should've fixed the lights.

I can't talk about [the cameo], but I can tell you it is a very funny cameo - probably the funniest line that I've had to say yet. And I say it to Captain America. You may notice with my cameos, they don't like me to do my cameo with the stars, because the star doesn't need that much competition (laughing). But this time Captain America was fierce and went along with it.
