Easily best movie I have seen this year, and the 3D didn't bother me either.
Off to go see this now.
Fuck yea
That's coz Hulk was Mo-capped with Ruffalo too. So they modified the Hulks face to look like him.
Edited:
Mark also did all the growls etc. But Lou, the usual hulk guy, did the actual audible dialogue. "Puny God"
I'm still stunned by how fucking funny the film was without it being out of place. Not a single awkward joke.
Edited:
If I had three wishes, one would be for Marvel to get all there rights back.
I'm glad they got Punisher back.
Scratch that, was sold out ):
Went to see this film yesterday in 3D. Fucking incredible. Did the portal remind anyone else of the one at the end of Half-Life 2?
The first portal at the start I was like "Lol stargate"
At the end, my friends were all saying;
"Holy shit that's Deadpool!"
I wanted to smack them, I said it wasn't deadpool and one agreed saying;
"Yeah, but Red Skull died in the Captain America film".
Grrrrr.
Just got back from seeing this. Day 1 blu-ray buy fo sho.
2 things though:
1. Is the post-credits scene hinting at a CA sequel? I think that was Red Skull I saw . Because that would be awesome.
2. When Banner rides up on his bike and responds to BW's 'now's a good time to get angry' with 'i'm always angry', is he implying what I think he is? Because again, that would be pretty awesome.
Implying that he's the Hulk?
????
It's Thanos
Implying he's always angry?
I think he implying that banner is always angry and thus can choose at will to become the hulk, like he does in the film.
Kinda fucks continuity from the second hulk film though.
So it's Iron Man 3 then?
Oh well, that's cool too.
Erm no I think it's for a sequel to the avengers
I just figured that since Thanos is from the Iron Man universe that it's gonna be Iron Man 3.
But hey, as long as Whedon is directing again, bring it.
Can't wait for the bloopers of this movie. I want to see how they fucked up the hilarious lines when making this movie.
How so?
This film continued the trait of;
"Tony Stark, Useless to Awesome in 0.5 seconds" when he suited up in midair.
You sure you don't have it confused with "Tony Stark, Witty to Awesome in 0.5 seconds"?
Well in the avengers it's heavily implied that banner is always angry and chooses when to become the hulk but in the second hulk film he's constantly checking his heart beat monitor cause he's scared he will become the hulk and when he jumps out the plane he is unsure of he will change before he lands.
Edited:
Does anyone know why banner picks up loki's staff thing without realising ?
Didn't he consciously grab it?
Just got back from seeing it. Better than I expected :)
Edited:
No, but Whedon said there will be at least 30 minutes of deleted scenes among the bonus material.
I thought they all look at him, tell him to put it down and he turns to look and has that 'dafuq' expression on his face
He obviously learned how to control it in between.
Just got back from seeing it. Good god it was amazing.
The bit where Hulk smashes Loki around in Stark's tower was fucking hilarious, although I missed what Hulk said afterwards because I was laughing too hard
"Puny God" or something to that extent.
I laughed at the part when they're all talking about something, then as soon as they walk off some guy on a computer goes on games.
the acting is this was really good
I loved Robert Downey Jr (oh god his voice, 200% homo)
the actor who played loki was also great
ruffalo didn't disappoint
also, the thing that I like the most about it isn't exactly the movie, but the whole feeling, this thing about them being the avengers
I mean, seeing each superhero's movie, then seeing them all together, and knowing that there's still more, that's really awesome
and did I mention I got a hulk cup?
Gonna see this on Friday, does it live up to expectations?
There's bound to be a lot of deleted scenes. Steve reading a letter from Peggy in this apartment for one. If you go back an watch the previous trailers, some of the clips didn't make the final cut
Like Widow throwing the discs thingy

Doubtful, apparently IR3 is going to focus on more down to earth things (more like a Tom Clancy novel): http://www.slashfilm.com/iron-man-3-tom-clancythriller/
The last scene in The Incredible Hulk is proving it.
It exceeds them.
I don't see how they can make more movies with the individual heroes. Why aren't they helping each other?
Also I noticed the lines in the trailer seemed to be different takes. The way they were spoken in the film was different. Lines like "We have a hulk" and "You have made me very desperate".
In the film Downey says that first line with less force than the trailer and Jackson says that second one less slow and dramatic. I guess they used the most dramatic takes for the trailer to catch peoples attention better.
The point is I wouldn't be surprised if some shots and lines were just for the trailer. I can't believe I'm sad enough to notice lines said differently from the trailer :(
Edited:
Oh while we're here my one and only problem with the film:
Hulk roaring to wake up Stark after the fall is funny and everything, but it seemed to only be there to be funny. It was a pretty strange soloution
But that's just me being nit picky. It's an amazing film and I honestly think it's the best super hero film. People will kick off about The Dark Knight but I'm getting tired of the moody scene now this film has shown us Superheroes can be bright and silly yet still taken seriously and have a lot of fun.
Suddenly I'm more excited for Spiderman than Batman. Which is not where I expected to be before seeing this film..
Didn't you watch the ending?
He's seen meditating learning to forcefully induce the hulk.
I noticed some of the lines were different as well - "what if I say no", "we're not a team, we're a timebomb", and "a genius billionaire playboy philanthropist" were all different in the trailer compared to the final film. And yeah, I agree with your point about them going with the more exaggerated / dramatic versions for the trailer, but using the more realistic sounding ones in the film.
I hope not for a while, I dont want them doing aliens again for the next one. Id like them to introduce Ultron in an Ant-man movie then have Ultron as the villian in an Avengers sequel.
Whedon about Avengers 2

He wants it to have smaller and not repeat what the first movie already did.
Why does Hulk act like a Gorilla in some scenes?
