    It's a device for detecting radiation and testing etc. Also the shoes have the wrap around them to stop the boots underneath from being contaminated :)

    Thanks to 1/4 life I almost have darkness detection working. Basically it gets the players model colour, and if it's below a certain threshold (a dark blue) then the player is in darkness. Then I can just modify the AI senses so it takes maybe 3x as long to see the player.

    The progression on this mod is most impressive. Jlea, your system of using color pigmentation by light sources as a measurable level of detectability is ingenious. I'm sure this wont be the last of your impressive feats, either. :buddy:

    So, I assume that experience will not be shown on the actual HUD, and instead will be shown in the backpack or something?

    Also, reverting discussion back to perks, would those be selectable by the character, or will he have to learn/gain them through NPCs/Challenges/Exploration (You found Token of Leadership - you are now level 2 Leader ).

    NPC's take 6x longer to detect you in darkness (2 seconds really)
    NPC's will run to get a line of sight when far away, but when you're close + they don't know where you are they'll start walking slowly.

    I'm glad there's going to be different clothes enemies. Adds more to the immersion, unlike those mods/games where every enemy is a clone.
    I recall fighting a Chef enemy in Medal of Honor: Frontline.

    Make it happen in this mod.

    Make all enemy behavior within a certain random range so every AI guy behaves a little differently. Most games even with complex AI are still incredibly predictable because everyone is the same.

    Update: NPC's will not detect you if you are crouching in a dark place, more than 20 ft away + havent fired a shot in 8 seconds.
