Speaking of the yellow light of death, Does anyone have any clue on how you can transfer your shit to a new PS3 if you got one?

The only way i think you could do it is get a external hard drive for the broken ps3 drive. Connect it to your computer. Then place the new ps3's hard drive into the external hard drive case, then copy the files from your computer to the external hard drive. Now, you can just place it back into your ps3 and be able to use it. (THIS means you have to buy a new ps3)

the problem isn't that much all the data i got on it
its more that before i open my playstation to fix the GPU and CPU if there is any good tips that might help so i don't have to open it up
