Wow, 50mm f1.4 for such a low price?
Lucky you, cheapest FD f1.4 I can find costs around £100...

Just bought a class 10 32GB SD card. Should be more suitable than my class 4 8gb card I have right now :)
How much that sting you?
Only £40, it's a shitty one, but it's gotta be better than this one even if it's crap![]()
Transcend by any chance? My 16GB is Class 10 and pretty good. No problems with it.
Yeah it is indeed. We sell them for £70 in Maplin so I think I got a pretty good deal (play.com) seeing as even on staff discount they're £52.
Hah yeah. The 16GB Transcend: £54 Maplin, £16 Amazon.
got a class 10 8gig card and two class 5(?) 4gigs. Not sure why I'd need much more at any given time unless I'm going off the beaten path for two weeks straight. :/
Bought me another 16GB Class 10 Transcend (that makes 2 16GB and 1 8GB) on ebay and another battery for my Nikon D3000. £55 altogether and two more positive ratings ooorah! Been reading up on nightclub photography and I hope I do get the opportunity, be a lot of fun and great experience.
BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY BICBOI
My Pentax 67 broke today. I was advancing the film, the lever locked up right before I got to the first exposure. I pressed the mechanism release and got the lever free, but now 1. the counter is stuck, 2. the shutter is stuck open (mirror down) 3. film won't advance, the take up spool doesn't rotate but I can move the lever. 4. I've tried new batteries and the light came on. And now seemingly without provocation, the battery check light won't come on.
Not necessarily asking for help, just expressing my sorrow :smith:
they are £20 on mymemory.co.uk
Aw that sucks. Maybe some store can fix it?
thats 16gb
Still haven't received my T70 from eBay... Been waiting for 18 days already.
Fuck, can't wait till' my camera gets fixed.
Oh yeah. (Sorry for the picture quality, taken with my phone)
That's really good quality for a phone.
What kind of phone has a camera like that?
HTC Touch Diamond 2
Desire HD with the settings fixed, iPhone 4 and many more.
Woo I think I've found someone who wants to buy my 500D. 550D here I come.
Edited:
Also I'm having a problem with one of my old Canon FD lenses, it's a 28mm 2.8, and it's really really REALLY soft, even when not wide open, and the colours are extremely washed out, I just wanna know if there's anything I can do about it or if it's just a result of the lens being 25+ years old that can't be fixed.
Thanks grandpa, RIP. :gbsmith:

Old lenses start to get foggy. Look into cleaning it?
I don't get it. Did your grandad give you a 24-70?
I'm not sure I quite get it either.
But I think it deserved a heart either way. :unsmith:
He died recently and left us some money, which I predictably used to get my lens.
:unsmith:
that hood looks ridiculously oversized :raise:
Looks fucking sexy.
Ah, forgot to ask, is 70-150mm f3.8 considered to be good lens? Since my other lens are 28-70mm, but f3.5-f4.5. I guess the first one is better?
My Zenit 11 has arrived! Woo!
Sorry about the quality, Picasa rapes it when I upload it from my phone instead of transferring to my PC first, and the room I took it in is dark.
I love the un-coupled cell light-meter on this thing, don't need any batteries.
So tempted to order my Sigma 30mm 1.4 right now. I have the money. I just hate departing with money.
Hah, I'm the same. Been debating whether or not to order a Canon 55-250 and maybe a cheap Yongnuo flash to experiment with for ages now.
Just got this tripod for free today, it's very sturdy. Model is PSV202 by unomat
Edited:
It gets almost 180cm high when fully extended
Get the 50mm f/1.4
I find 50mm too tight on a 1.6 crop sensor.
I don't think I have posted here before, but I haven't had an SLR in a while. ANYWAYS
I am purchasing a Canon t2i (550D) in a few days along with a 50mm f1.4 lens, mainly for videos to get a good depth of field. Later down the road I am thinking of getting like an 18-135mm for photos.
Right now I am borrowing my fathers old but good Pentax K1000 with it's old 55mm f/2 lens. BUT it still takes AWESOME photos.
and it just looks awesome, I mean look at this!

For some reason I think that camera looks amazingly cool.
Not too fond of the way the lens looks though, but the camera looks awesome.
As if what your camera looks like matters.
I'd love a proper film camera, but right now I don't have money for anything at all :<
Yeah I wish film was more convenient or I would have all films cameras. But I like taking pictures then having them on my computer within minutes, I mean if I had a dark room I could but yeah. Also sadly film SLRs don't take video...
