+ new Arsonists Gets All the Girls album (Motherland) that comes out in May
Wasting Light is shaping up to be one of the best albums so far this decade. Can't fucking wait.
Njiqahdda - The Path of Liberation from Birth and Death
I also might want the Universal Form Replaced With Despondent Chaos EP
Brokencyde's releasing a mixtape on 4/20, I guess it's going to be about weed
Last mixtape about weed I downloaded was pretty good, so maybe this one will be too, even if their albums suck :smug:
Oh man awesome
Didn't know about this :frogc00l:
Listen to albums that don't suck maybe? :3:
I listen to their EPs and just delete the songs from their albums that suck. :smug:
Don't cherry pick albums it hurts my faith in music fans :crying:
I only do it with Brokencyde and Dr. Acula (Social Event of the Century or whatever the album was called was fucking terrible).
Not very respectful to the artist :smug:
Edited:
Fair enough, then it's acceptable.![]()
Dr. Acula's songs are all about 90 seconds but they're like 3-4 completely random short songs literally just shoved into one another.
I hope you realise the fall is out already. and hugely dissapointing.
Not hugely disappointing, but not great. It's different.
I'm talking about the physical released, I know a digital copy has been online since december, I had a listen to it and was actually quite pleased with how it sounded, the problem with Gorillaz is that they're a test lab, you can't make expectations of them, as Damon Albarn's just going to atempt what he fancies writting about at the time, and his diversity allows him to feed those ventures fairly well.
Sounds like you haven't listened to anything other than the earliest album. And why would you complain about it anyway, you like IWABO and stuff, right?
I'm not really complaining, really
But I think they don't have very much flow when changeing, unlike IWABO and the like who actually have an orchestrated change instead of just like
HEY LETS PLAY THIS FOR 30 SECONDS
K DONE
NOW UM
THIS IS DIFFERENT BUT IDK I GUESS WE CAN JUST SHOVE IT ON AFTER THAT LAST BIT

To be honest that's how I feel about a lot of deathcore bands too. Too many bits with very little flow, too many tempo changes
It's the breakdowns
mainly
They totally ruin the flow of most songs imo.
Breakdowns can be well implemented though, they just often aren't. I was listening to a deathcore band play some songs in college today and the tempo changes were so abrupt I felt like I got whiplash
Yeah they tend to be so random and they honestly seem to just chuck them in for the hell of it.
Yeah don't talk as if he is the most innovative artist to have been concieved. :smug:
never said he was.
New Insomnium album.
Albums from Justice, Camo & Krooked, Gemini, and possibly Death From Above 1979
oh man that would be so sweet
Quick update.
