yeah that's Kanye West's album cover of his new album.

"Soma Records: 20 Years" compilation. Just because it's got an unreleased Daft Punk tune from 1994 on it and I can't wait to hear it.
Noel Gallagher's album "High Flying Birds"
Although I didn't care a "WHOLE LOT" about Oasis, he has heart. I didn't care for Liam Gallagher's Beadie Eye ripoff band. They just try and be Oasis without being called Oasis.
Edited:
here's the single
I like it.
Lena Katina from t.A.T.u. released this single yesterday:
So strong, can't wait to listen to the rest.
Era Extrana - Neon Indian
Opeth - Heritage
Mastodon - The Hunter
New Animal Collective album. They're apparently moving away from watery noises and moving into electric noises (Not electronic but actually electricity, surging around, "zap", "bzzz" etc.) so I'm pretty exited for that.
Also new Nine Inch Nails and How To Destroy Angels, sometime in the future but closer than you would think.
The Carter 4 which comes out August 29th, and a new Kid Cudi album though that will be a while before it comes out. Oh and The R.E.D. Album by The Game.
Alive 2017
I hope it comes
Really looking forward to releases from:
Monuments
Vildhjarta
Aliases
Periphery
All should come out either late 2011-2012, although knowing monuments and vildhjarta, it might never come out. I'm interested in what Periphery's next album is going to contain as well, it's probably mostly stuff already on bulb's soundclick, but I always enjoy hearing the rerecorded versions and spencer sotello just keeps getting better.
I hope it comes sooner than 2017. I sure as hell ain't waiting another 5 and a half years for a Daft Punk tour.
Aliases' album comes out tomorrow
Coldplay's next album will be their worst.
Eughh, such a shame that they've gone super poppy. :c
I still think Parachutes was their best.
Two bands I've been keeping tabs on for awhile, Foster the People and The Romany Rye.
People probably know about Foster the People by now. Their EP dropped quite some time ago and they've had some radio success with "Pumped Up Kicks" and dropping their full LP recently. Still, my favorite track is "Helena Beat." I'm seeing these guys in Chicago in about two months and I'm ridiculously excited to get my dance on.
"Helena Beat" :
As for The Romany Rye, they haven't gained much popularity (yet). I'm absolutely in love with their folky/occasionally Neil Young-esque rock. Thus far we only have an EP and a couple of Soundcloud releases.
Upbeat and fun "New King of the Mountain" :Hardcore channeling Neil Young with "Untitled (Love Song)" :
Parachutes is brilliant. It's dumb how they as a band hate it so much.
Rush Of Blood To The Head is my favourite.
Found out "Dead Can Dance" are releasing an album early next year... will be awesome.
More releases towards the end of this year include Tom Waits, Donald Fagen and Leonard Cohen.
Electric Six will be releasing Heartbeats and Brainwaves this October.
Looking forward to it.
The new Dirty Heads album.
I'm so exited for it
Viva la Vida was a great album, I have a feeling this new one will never live up to it.
I liked Viva La Vida more than X&Y but neither compare to the first two imo.
Well, it's not so much a new career move as so much a scheme to get the pop crowd.
I cannot wait for Dream Theater's new album! The snippets I've heard are sounding fantastic. :h:
Clock Opera's debut album.
yesss!
Release date for Charles Manson's new album
25th October
Fuck yeah.
This also comes out on the same day!
I can't wait
I'm looking forward to The Mars Volta's new album that's supposed to come out next year. Also, Streetlight Manifesto's new album would be v cool

Spring 2012:

Fuck... that's taking a LONG time to get released...
I am pumped as fuck for new material from Baroness. They haven't actually annoucned an album, but they've said they're in the studio now and they've released some cryptic sneak peeks.
It was interrupted a number of times by the time machine tour.
Peter Gabriel's new album. Released next week.

^Beautiful album cover. Looks like a picture taken through a microscope.
Well it looks like some sort of bacteria or creature at a tip of a pen.
Burzum - From the Depths of Darkness
Out November 28th, 2011
More like a piece of dirt or dust really
Edited:
Huh. Haven't seen anything about that, is he going for the same style as Fallen?
It's gonna mostly be re-recordings of Varg's favorite songs from the s/t and Det Som Engang Var. Someone said something about it in the Black Metal thread. But I did find a link with some info. http://www.infernalmasquerade.com/?q...ikernes-burzum
We Were Promised Jetpacks - In the Pit of the Stomach was released yesterday. I'll have to go get it.
Other things I can think of
Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto (October 24th)
Justice - Audio Video Disco (October 25th)
Florence + The Machine - Ceremonials (October 31st)
Snow Patrol - Fallen Empires (November 14th)
And then probably some other stuff I only hear about like a day before.
This is the month for releases.
Bjork, Tom Waits, Charles Manson, Peter Gabriel, Noel Gallagher, Coldplay.
Should be a few I'm missing out.
December 6th, 2011:
Can't wait!
