I've heard that Boston, or what's left of it, is nearly finished with another album. Of course, they operate in the musical equivalent of Valve time, so it could be years before they release.

I have pretty mixed emotions about it. On the one hand, I'd really like to hear whatever Tom Scholz has come up with, and I'm interested in hearing what Brad Delp was working on before his death. On the other hand, their last album was really disappointing to me; it was still great, but it just didn't have the same magic to it as their first several albums.. At any rate, it'll be interesting to see what happens; at the very least I can see some more of their beautiful album art.

I do read some of their reviews when I'm bothered. But I can't take them as a whole too seriously.

And the Avalanches' say that they're new album will be ready in 2012,    but it's only been "almost ready" for like 5 years now... :(

I didn't find it to be, I found Paradise at least to be a really cool tune and kinda lovely plus the production quality was very high because Brian Eno

Well that judgement was based on the "Teardrop is a Waterfall" song being released. Paradise is very good.

Also I did hear that Kate Bush, and it's damn good. Very slow moving but I really like it, very enveloping and ambient. Lots of piano and less of the "explosive" that she's been renowned for. Some may be disappointed but I loved it.

Prodigy to release a new album sometime in 2012. I liked their previous one, not as much as their earlier work but this one will be something I'll hear. :)

Apparently the TGWDT soundtrack was (probably slightly) narrowed down from 2 hours and 45 minutes. And I forgot to put the How to Destroy Angels album in my post too, really looking forward to that one.
