i was actually talking about their early albums (projects in the jungle, i am the night, power metal). they were pretty thrash back then, i don't see why people call them glam but w/e.By the way, you mention "early Pantera" as an influence, but did you know that they were a glam-rock band in the early 80's?

apparently my friend got shy and nervous when she asked him to sign her tit
they were glam mainly on the looks and the vocal style on the first few albums. after recruiting Phil then they shot up into power/thrash on Power Metal, then with Cowboys, they helped create groove. you gotta admit though, they do still look pretty queer on the Power Metal cover.

Can't listen to it right now, since the mate I'm house-sitting with is sleeping right now (the two dogs we're watching were being balls of energy and started barking at 1AM and wouldn't stop for 3 hours straight, so we're a bit tired...)

I see! One of my guitarists seems to have a tube fetish. He's not gonna buy anything which doesn't have a tube, I say he's stupid. He wants to save for a JCM, but for some reason is getting a middle ground. I say a Fender Mustang III or IV and he just shoots it down. Fool! Modelling amps can produce some banging tones.
