Hi Copy's Server is a server that started off with just a few friends wanting to make a big town. But it has quickly grown since we decided to open it to the public. There is NO WHITELIST and you can just join straight away! The admins are friendly and we make sure that any new player has a housing lot sorted out for them as quickly as possible so they being construction of their house as quickly as possible.
Settlements
Opal City - This is the town currently being developed. The location is an incredibly large naturally flat plain. Opal city is currently as large as Valley Creek (the original settlement) but will soon be growing to much larger sizes with individual districts which each carry a different purpose.
Valley Creek - The original town that started everything. Currently there is still reason to go to Valley Creek apart from nostalgia value! Firstly it has a warehouse full of building materials that you can buy and sell using the server plugin iConomy. Valley Creek also boasts a gigantic mob spawner that can be accessed using the subway system.

Rules
The server rules are designed to keep the town organised and make sure there are no land disputes. These rules are:
1. No griefing, stealing all that obvious stuff - PVP is ON but killing without consent (such as for a duel) is a ban.
2. Be mature and friendly. If theres a dispute talk to an OP don't take matters into your own hands.
3. Lots are marked out by fences in the ground. The fences will mark the boundaries of where you can build. There are many lots scattered around the city and you can start building even if theres no body on. Do not build on lots marked as 'reserved' or lots with any existing building work on them.
4. No private mines! Its a strange rule but the vast subway system that is planned is going to take up a lot of the underground and we need it to be as tidy as possible. Use the public mine and cave system. [b](Update: Private mines are allowed as long as they are under your house and at diamond level)
What to do?
Currently there is a huge amount of construction effort going on in Opal City. There are many things that people can help out with or build to make the city a thriving metropolis:
> Build a house - An obvious one. When you first start you should build a house in the large amount of housing lots available these are marked out with fences inside the ground. (You should not build in an area not marked out by fences inside the city)
> Build a shop - The server uses a plugin called 'Realshop' that allows chests to be used to buy and sell items. Coupled with iConomy you can earn income from your shop to spend on other things.
> Contribute to public buildings - Public buildings in Opal City are megabuilds (see the town hall and the railway station) anyone is welcome to help out on these buildings.
> Help with the subway - The subway in Opal City is planned to be vast and comprehensive, serving all parts of the town.
> Discover lost treasure and secrets. Every now and then admins will place secrets or mini adventure areas around the map. Discovering these secrets can give you hidden treasure!

Ideally we are going to have a shop for almost everything you can get in minecraft to have a proper economy.

Shit, even on this server the map doesn't load for me.

Hey the new update means the maps load VERY slowly just be patient it normally takes 30 seconds or so!
Also while you are loading chat probably won't work due to the map loading having priority over the bandwidth.

This is quite wierd....
Might be the connection? Maybe some ports are blocked by your ISP or router?

It's just an assumption but it seems many others are having trouble regarding that, chunk loading errors time out, delay in chat, and the likes.

I don't understand... The server is in Sweden so you might want to check how far you are...
But other than that i have no idea, maybe you have a bad processor because the game uses that primarily.
This is quite sad really...

It doesn't use the graphics card as much as the processor, by my knowledge.
