He's been working with Robert Fripp on the remasters for a while I think, doing 5.1 releases too but I don't have a 5.1 setup :saddowns:

    Edited:

I love the crazy atmosphere changes in the album. It's fucking great. I'm looking forward to the follow up lots :haw:
I hate how progressive rock doesn't get the attention it deservers, it has the best bands in the world IMO, such as God is an Astronaut, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, God Speed you! Black Emperor. This will Destroy You, and others.

Started to really get into king crimson and for some reason, dangerous curves from power to believe is one of my favourites. I've done Larks Tongue in Aspic, Court of the Crimson King, and the power to believe so far because I wanted to see what it was like. Very impressed with all of them.

The Power To Believe was actually surprisingly good. I enjoyed it a lot.

Try ThraK, you might like that more.

For anyone that didn't see, Dream Theater are going to be posting a documentary to announce the new drummer. People who auditioned were Mike Mangini, Virgil Donati, Marco Minnemann, Thomas Lang, Aquiles Priester, Derek Roddy and Pete Wildoer.

I really really hope it's not Mike Mangini, he's ok, but all he really does is play really fast. I'm hoping for Marco or Virgil.

The show is in Helsinki, so thats an hour and a half drive from my house.
This appears to be a great time to listen to some Rush to prepare!
Also, apparently they are playing the whole Moving Pictures album in the show.

The owner of my local music shop told me that if he ever sees of copy of Rush's "Vapor Trails", he'll put it to one side for me. Only thing is, he'll charge 6.50 for it and it's on Amazon for 4.97 but I don't want to rob him of a sale because he's a really nice guy and he runs the shop all by himself.

Although he does have Wired by Jeff Beck on vinyl for 10

    Not necessarily.

Although I don't want to advise people to take drugs, some of the people I've heard comments from have said things about music in ways a sober person wouldn't be able to experience, in order to understand.
There can be abilities to open the mind even further so you are even more involved.

I'm trying to get there, just without the psychedelic drugs.

I don't want to take drugs, since they can stay in your body for weeks and affect your mental capabilities. I can't afford having my rational thinking deteriorate, because of what I do in school.

I'm more comfortable with the idea of Mangini getting it now, he did well. But judging from the preview thing at the end it sounds like they were blown away by Virgil Donati. Which would be absolutely amazing.

Bought the new Between the buried and me album The parallax: hypersleep dialogues.

Has three tracks,Apparently it's a LP, all running about 30 Minutes all together. What i enjoy about this album is how the whole album tells a story from start to finish.
