Heres where im going to be posting all the maps ive ported from l4d2, whether its from an official campaign or a community campaign. enjoy

L4D2 Dead Center's First level, Hotel The Vannah, Ported finally to garrysmod
Heres the first l4d2 map i believe, to be ported to garrysmod successfully with its models and material included.
features include; Original models/materials/3d skybox/map.

bugs and other:
there is no fire in the first floor. this saves time in export, and makes map less laggy.

its possible you might see a weird white line in some parts of the map, not really noticeable unless your really lookin at it but yea. still tryin to find a fix for it

Unknown but for some people have said that some of the shaders in some of the props are missing, im attempting to fix that, until then its good to own Half Life 2.

Holy F'ing Christ! It took me weeks trying to port atleast the Dead Centre's finale map to Garry's Mod. How did you do that? I tryed editing the .vmf with the ported Left 4 Dead maps .vmf codes but nothing happened it just doesn't load up the map for me.

Incredible work. I wold love to see at least a portion of downtown New Orleans ported over, though. Being a person that lives there, I'd love to have my city to pose in.

I'm looking forward for the Liberty Mall or Whispering Oaks (outside the Peach Pit) showing up.

I tried to port the mall, unfortunately there's something wrong with the numportals, I'll still think about trying to port it but until then, it'll be some of the other maps

to anyone who still checks out this thread, im gona be portin the first level from dark carnival very soon, finally figured out what was wrong with the skybox so its gonna be ported over in the next week.

The dark carnival highway map looks like it's missing a 3d skybox.
Pretty good job on them though.

sadly yes theres no skybox, for some reason it was one of the main causes of prop/sky bugs, tried to work around it but i never could. sorry. hope whats there is worth it.

Question: Is the actual park from dark carnival included in the highway or arena maps? Or has it not been (fully?) ported/cleaned?

the actual park hasnt been ported yet. i may start tat as the next map to port, or the mall. might be the mall next.
