It seems I am in need of help again. I had to force update in order to join my friend's server. The mod stopped working until I deleted the meta-inf file of coure. But my problem is, millenare loads but my village is marked as in-active and there are no people around, just the buildings and crops. How do I get my village to activate again?

let me guess, you've loaded that savegame without millenaire installed once?
this happened to me too, there's no way to activate them again, your savegame is fucked.

I backed the save game up before I updated though. Did I need to re-install millenare? Plz help guys.

you can just update millenaire whenever you want, as long as the savegames you care about don't get loaded when it isn't, the villages will stay active, if you do, the savedgame is fucked.
your backup probably will do though.

K wait. What the hell am I supposed to do to make the village active again once I put the backup in?

I cannot play this mod knowing that every time there is any sort of update it breaks and my villagers are taken away from me forever. Its a pitty too, this mod is awesome. Oh well back to terraria considering notch continues to break mods.

it should automatically work with the backup, or the update did something that made all old saves unusable.
it's still a mod in alpha, these things are to be expected.

although this may be a great, and fun mod. this mod doesn't enhance minecraft but rather change it's style of gameplay. and thus is should stay a mod.
or a additional gamemode to choose. but it shouldn't be forced upon a player.

If you use wood, they'll take that I think. I'm not sure if they take other resources, though I think they don't.
