    The github version of T1 is on par with an early version of T2, and the only real bugs I've run into while trying to work with the github version is that when people die, it won't go first person, and the business tab refuses to work. Also, if a flashlight is turned on, due to the new way first person works, it always faces down when not using a weapon. Other than that, and the bad positioning of weapons in first person due to Source being dumb, and the font being awkward, it works very well.

    A option for weapons to have float/dead zones
    A option so when you set a unique var on a weapon it can be networked.
    Changeable torsos/feet/legs instead of just heads ( Asked you this before, don't remember what you said )

    A float zone on a weapon is basically, you can aim it around, and when it reaches a certain point, after being turned so much, it will THEN turn the players view.

    Jawalt said that unique data on items is not shared, it is only serverside, what i mean is like:

    SetItemUniqueData( strKey, value, bShared )

    That'd require a whole custom SWEP base, and I don't think I'll be doing that for base Tiramisu.

    No, but itemids ARE shared, so you can just fetch the data based on the ID and that'd just be way more efficient.

    Is anyone working on a schema, or is there someone who wants to work on one, that is wanting to host a Tiramisu server. I've gotten my github version working without issues, other than business tab being broken (really do need to find a way to fix that).

    Here's the reason why I don't want you working on it yet:

    1) Schemas may change
    2) Groups WILL change
    3) New stuff will be added and you'll have to merge on a weekly or even daily basis.

    Trust me, be patient, wait 'til it's done and everything will go smoothly sailing

    Yes, groups will be rewritten entirely so they're less shoot and miss. Specifically, they're gonna be objects now, and will load on demand, so group information is always available when you need it

    Glad to hear that. When you made a group, altering a position would result in it saying you had incorrect credentials.
    My biggest concerns are bugs that I know you'll fix, and you probably already know about them, but I'll list them anyway so I can feel better about myself: (all with vanilla Tiramisu)
    [1] Sometimes the blank slate model will appear alongside your actual model. So males get a Breen mixed in their actual character, and females get Alyx.
    [2] Flashlights under the current system only work if they're used along with a weapon drawn, since the flashlight faces downward towards the ground.
    [3] Healing is still listed with "MaxHealth" which isn't correct. Should change to "GetMaxHealth".
    [4] Business doesn't work. (But you are rewriting it)
    [5] When making a character, you have to click the "model" button twice, once to load the model, and another to actually change it. (don't think it's fixable, but still noteworthy I guess)

    I also want to know something, I am an admin, but I cannot give myself tools or physgun despite being listed with tooltrust. I don't know if this is because of Tira still being in development, or if I am missing something.

So I'm kind of forced to ask, is anybody willing to lend a server so I can continue testing? It doesn't have to be a big one, in fact, I prefer it to not be a big server.

    Okay so here's a run down of what I did today:

    Preliminary work on flashlights

    Fixed an annoying bug that flicked your view to other places when you aimed then sprint then stopped sprinting.
    Fixed an annoying bug that forced you into first person on weapon bases that use ironsights while sprinting.

    Flashlights are all but done, need to work out a couple bugs then add items for them.

    In the HL2 schema, though CP helmets will act as both flashlights and radios :D

    rendering is whack sometimes.. Jawalt should consider making his own Flashlight effects, that would be cool. I always thought the HL2 Flashlight could've been done alot brighter..

    I am. There will be 2 types of lights:

    Area lights, held in the user's hand they're illuminate the area around the player.
    Flashlights, these are like normal flashlights only use projected textures.

    Flashlights can be created by adding ITEM.IsFlashlight to the item's definition. If it's just an item you can use the flashlight any time. If it's a helmet the helmet must be equipped for it to work. If it's a weapon the weapon must be out.
