Alright, basically we're keeping this going, I can't say for sure but Keysle is working full time and I guess the project is orphaned at the moment, we're hoping to continue it and maybe make it a tad more organised than it used to be, so please apply and lend a hand.
You don't need to devote a mass of time to the project, don't think we're all just spending all our time thinking about it, just drop in to do some voicing or help on the map. We have a tad more flexibility now at the cost of a person directing this project properly.

Relax Oscar, if everyone wishes me to be director I will, but I will concede it if someone I trust feels they can direct better than me.
We had the plotline videos in the spreadsheet, but Keysle has removed them since leaving the project and we were going to use them to explain the plotline, I will make a video detailing it later on. I made this yesterday when I wasn't sure if Keysle had left, feel free to argue on me.
And can we try and keep arguments down? This project is looking dire enough already, surely a project like this is meant to be fun and not something to get riled up about.

Okay, another video, this time on the beginnings of Spawn City, some talk of the other sets aswell, for further knowledge of the sets look at the map section on the google document.
Any questions or criticisms, ask away. Also I aplogise for my microphone, it picks up sound too well and thus renders me a bit loud, at least when I listen back to it.

Okay, we've been building and we've finished the slums. They look like shit, just like we wanted.
Once we finish the main section of town which is a tad more work we should move up to the castle, while some others begin on the Obsidian Umbrella.

When will filming begin?
I know i'm not involved in this project, but i'm interested in it.

Well, that depends really, we're sorting out the map at the moment, sets and all. We've started with the most time consuming set and working our way from there. I do want to shoot a scene as soon as we have a script and the relevant set though, not really as part of the main feature, more as a proof of concept.
Assuming that we have some people begin on the Blizzardcap mountain set we could begin filming sooner. As that is where the first scene takes place and we may as well begin chronologically. A hopeful estimate would be 1-2 weeks if we can sort that out. And even then it would be a test shoot to see if everything comes together.
Plus Oscar and me have to collaborate storywise, I'm writing the script and I want him to handle the storyline in general and characters. But that is up to him, of course.
A longwinded answer I know, but I like to keep as much in mind as possible.

To all those that might of seen me on the keysle forum i am the minecraftguy and i helped on some of the storyline from keysles work, i believe snakeye has a more adapted and much better version of my original work. If you watch some of keysles pitches my name does come up. Also all buldings etc. that i've designed and created etc. are on the keysle thread so if you want to see check there.

I suggest it should be a series rather than a movie so that we can expand on the plot as it progresses, making it awesome.

This sounds really interesting. Are you going to be using any mods for the filming?

I want to avoid mods so it feels more true to Minecraft, granted for set building we are cheating for resources. We're also using texture packs for effect (Ie. different characters have a literally different 'view' on the world).
Not to mention updates breaking maps and all. We may end up using a mod if it becomes popular enough that to the average minecraft player it is instantly recognisable.

Not interested with this at all as I don't have the attention span for anything lately, but I do have a recommendation for the walls.
You should add smoothstone in random places so it's not all just cobblestone, as cobblestone looks pretty ugly in most things.
And in the slums there should be some destroyed housing and noticeable damage on the walls. Just my two cents

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe the merchant's assistant or child or something.

There are already holes in one of the walls, and some of the buildings in the slums have actually collapsed in on themselves.

As Oscario said. That and we haven't finished with the walls, they're pretty much just there to show where the city ends at the moment and when all else is done we're going to make them easier on the eyes.

Just looked around the server a bit, what you guys have is amazing, I'm in love with the broken parts of the wall. Keep it up, guys!
(There's quite a few Creeper holes within the city, though. Intentional?)

I just joined to walk around a bit. Seems interesting, but it seems dead, and the infinite cobblestone isn't working. I tried to toggle the switch, but it didn't refill it.
