should i spray paint my vest like a tuxedo or just wear a suit?
Buy it, suitsofting is hella fun.
working on getting a stencil small enough to put on my gun that says
You can swap out the handguards and painting on the bolt will get worn when you move it.
You could do it on the handguards if you ever want to change it, but receiver if that's how you want it to be for most of the time.
it might look kinda cool along the top face of the bolt
either that or the receiver, idk
Do you have a RIS compatible monocale to go with it?
Haha, that's great. Tophat too?
ROCK OUT WITH YOUR COCK OUT
128cm/50 inches of cock to be exact
That scope looks way better than the other one.
Maybe. I'll still use the other one when I'm in the short config.
What inner barrel do you have in there?
650mm Madbull Black Python
So the inner barrel only fills half of the outer barrel?
It goes all the way up to the supressor. This config is for lulz, I usually have the shorter outer barrel screwed on, so the inner barrel ends almost right with the suppresssssor.
You should get one of those crazy kinds of barrels and try out one of those sweet hopup mods on it. An inner barrel that long is probably screwing with your accuracy.
That is all.
I don't like how you painted the bolt catch, mag release, and fire selector. I think it would've looked nicer if you'd just painted the grip + lower body, personally.
Everything else looks nice.
except for those wires, what's up with those?
I like the flat black/versus grey going on with the sight, I'd do the whole gun that way myself. You'd stand out and it would be pretty cool.
I also agree with keeping the selector and other moving parts their proper colors if you can.
Sorry if replying to four quotes bothers anyone.
Yep, its a standard looking tacticool AR alright.
This gun is built for speed, it's barely tactical. At least I didn't put any Magpul on this build (the mag doesn't count right...?).
Make it either ranger Gray or a mix with that and OD. Subdued colors look much better with black than tan or straight up OD.
Chocolatey vanilla guns look meh, more properly colored guns look much better.
If I had an M4/M16 and wanted to paint it, I'd probably go with a desaturated grey-green. A bit uncommon without being an eyesore.
I think what's bugging me is that the receiver is just flat tan. I think it would look better with some other browns and maybe some OD mixed in too. You'd never ever see a real M4 camo'd only a single color
I would only mix it with other colors if I was going to do the whole body...it would look strange to do a camo job on just the lower receiver, wouldn't it?
When the paint wears off enough maybe I'll recoat it in OD or something.
I think he meant mixing the paints together to get one color, flat tan isn't going to be as good as a darker tan. Not many things on Earth are that color.
Or at least that's my opinion.
Actually I meant camoing the gun. So base coat of tan with brown stripes/splotches with some light brown and OD overspray
Take it apart, drop those bits in some paint stripper. Problem solved.
turns out that the magnifier was for a low-profile aimpoint, but i used my PDW rear sight as a rail riser and it works beautifully with the EOTech
not 100% sure i like the look of it, but damn is it ever awesome to use
Put that on your AK when you get it.
