I'm going to try and see if this site is good enough. If it lets me do enough answers, then I'll treat movies with 5 agrees (disagrees won't matter) as nominations and then all of those will be put in as possible answers and the top rated movies will become the list
I put emphasis on A Clockwork Orange and Forrest Gump.
Never mind, only allows up to 49 answers so I'll keep looking.
Not the best, but CERTAINLY one of the most entertaining.
Fun little films don't count as classics
Good Will Hunting (1997)
-Excellent plot
-Matt Damon
-Ben Affleck
-Instant classic
Boondock Saints 1999

Hey OP
In your OP, maybe you could attach a link in each movie, that directs users to the given post. That way, people who look at the list can jump directly to that post in this thread. It might balance things out a bit.
Event Horizon (1997)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119081/
One of the best b-grade sci-fi horror movies ever made, give it a watch if you're a fan of abandoned spaceship movies. My personal favourite

C'mon guys, you know you love this badboy
Thief of Bagdad (1940)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0033152/
- Escapist oriental fantasy
- One of Miklos Rozsa's best scores
- GLORIOUS 3-strip technicolor
- Lots of fun
- Great effects for the time
- Directed by Alexander Korda
Sunshine (2007)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448134/
Another one of my favourite space movies
Memento
One of my personal favorites, great plot, really well directed and played...
Fun, but top 250? No.
Tenacious D on the other hand...?
I know but i think it's greeat how it got higher ratings then Titanic
I don't really like either
school of rock appeals to me more
Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Can't believe no one has said it yet.
It was the 11th post in the thread
:smith:
yeah lol sorry
Also because this guy edited his post and removed it,
Pulp Fiction
Personally, one of my 3 top favorites, if not my favorite of all...
Fuck man why did I not think of Pulp Fiction
it was in the 11th post you mentioned, but he edited it out to only leave one movie, Reservoir Dogs...
Dawn Of The Dead too, if it hasn't been already mentioned
The remake, I mean though
Titanic (1997)
This movie (in addition to being my favorite movie which I never shut up about) was so enormously popular and influential that it deserves a spot in at least the 250.
