Stuff on the front page will get more ratings then the others, this doesn't work. Should get a list then make a poll.

    Das Boot (1981)

This is a film that everyone absolutely must see before they die. Hands down the best naval war film ever made. Awesome special effects, a tense storyline, brilliant cast; unquestionably Wolfgang Petersen's own 9th Symphony, so to speak. 10/10 in my book, and I don't care if you disagree.

    Edited:

I was going to do The Libertine, but when I saw that Das Boot hadn't been mentioned, I immediately raged.

    Gandhi (1982)

Ben Kingsley IS Gandhi. Undoubtably one of the most moving performances of the 80s and of all time. As a movie I'd say it's a vintage masterpiece. Seems more like it's worthy in the 70s rather than 80s but oh well.

I think the best idea would be to create a site with Google Form
    A la this https://sites.google.com/site/microsnakey/fp-250

Then the responses are given in google docs spreadsheet format that the whole of FP can view.
You can also see a summary of votes

Then after a certain amount of time we can make a top list

    Thoughts?

But the problem is that the first pages get more votes than the last pages so if we just treat movies with more than 5 agrees as suggestions we can start without any bias

Or we could just have the voting system carry on as it is on the OP post and implement a system. :3:
