It's because depending on individual choices and on one's favorite god and goddess, I fast for Hanuman, the monkey God on Tuesdays, and on Mondays for Shiva. It's about self-discipline too.

Hey guys, Ive got a question.
Ive been working out for half year now, but I still dont know (I never asked :P) if is it okay, to lift certain amount of weight, and than lower it to the point where you cant lift anymore?
Lets say Im doing dumbell curls. I start with 14kg, than 10kg and finish with 6kg, each time doing at least 2 sets with at least 8 reps.
Is this a good or a bad workout routine?

3 x a week is fine, hell it's fine for most intermediates.
or p much anyone thats not an olympic/elite athlete~~~( even some of them only lift 3x a week if their sport calls for it )

even on our freshmen team our whole defensive line save for me was 230lbs+. Our Middlelinebacker was a lean 185 as was our other linebacker. Our offensive line was considered small with most of our guys at 230-240ish.
Most linemen, regardless of age in highschool are going to be 200lb+, as with some linebackers and fullbacks.

well here in america there are plenty of football teams out of school but it isn't even football season yet. workouts for football start in july to get you prepared and the practices and stuff in august or so.
