I picked these up a couple days ago when I saw them in the store. I have to say that I actually really like them. Wielding one in each hand is great because you can parry and still attack with them. They are light and quick to swing, but the material itself is pretty durable.
Locking them together makes using them a little odd because of how long it is, but with a little practice you can use it to great advantage. You will find yourself tempted to act like Darth Maul though, but it is still really enjoyable to use.
Unboxing video of one of the new Nerf Vortex blasters. Looks pretty cool and their stock ranges are pretty amazing for a stock blaster. Can't wait to get one.
Personally the proton is the only one that interests me out of the whole group. The Nitron just seems like a massive waste of money , same with the praxis , and the vigilon apparently has the worst ranges of them all , making the proton ideal.
Never knew this until I started looking up laws regarding air soft guns in Canada.
You do not need the orange tips here. Paint here I come.
I prefer darts over discs any day, but that is just my opinion.

Or not being allowed in a HvZ game.
It's Been a Looooooonnngggg Time...
I finally came around to finishing my nerf Maverick, this is my first "quality" paintjob/mod that iv'e done, Roulette modded, no ARs and that sweet blade on the front, i love it oh so much.
Anyone got reviews on the new vortex series? I'm really interested in it.
My Alpha Trooper jammed fully, Thinking of Returning it.
Any suggestions on which gun I should get next?
what do you mean jammed fully?
i just got an idea.

That's very original. No sarcasm, I don't think I've seen anybody do anything like that with a Maverick before.
The pump is stuck at the front, I've tried to pull the pump back, half of my family has as well. No luck.
The only way to open the jam door is if the pump is pulled back.
Gettin' my buzz bee double-shot soon, whoo
Can't wait for it to be delivered.
That's actually a pretty good idea. I'll suggest this to one of the modders.
Nice.
I'm getting used to Nerf since I bought the Secret Strike AS-1. Then on my birthday I got a Maverick and a set with 2 Buzz-Bee guns.
Nerf is great, me and a few friends have this amazing, huge wood-like place up a hill where virtually no one goes. We all take our nerf guns up there and it's a great laugh.
One kid who is fucking annoying tagged along once with his airsoft P90, shot someone in the ankle once and spent the rest of the day unjamming it because he emptied magazines without stopping.
Nerf 1
Airsoft 0
yea i was thinking about how to reload the maverick without flipping it around (which is precious time) and then i realized "Durr a Top Break would be amazing"
Lik reel gunz!!111!!
If i ever get my hands on another Maverick to monkey around with that's the first thing ill do.
Good idea, but it would be a bit awkward to load.
More awkward than flipping the gun around, pressing the button, then load 1 dart, spin barrel x6?
This thread makes me feel like I'm 12.
It loads from the front. unless you're planning to cut holes in the back, which I doubt will work.
Edited:
And besides, load 2 at a time.
I like the detail on it!
break-action maverick may still be possible.
Plus alot of the swing out piece isn't needed, and actually wont be needed at all if its going to be a top Break, so yea, the next maverick i get, First mod im gonna do.
Be sure to give us pictures- or even a video- of it in action.
I will almost no doubt make a video. pictures wouldnt do it justice.
Oh hey, ideas for ways to keep the maverick together.
I feel like some sort of engineer :science:
Just got my Buzz Bee double shot.
I love this thing. Too much.
Just a few little projects I've been working on.
What's the gun on the top, it looks like it would be amazing of you put blue LEDs where the yellow bits up front are.
The nerf watergun, I think.
Could be, if that underhand grip is connected to an air tank, i hope it's modified for darts to work too though.
The water gun could shoot nerfs and water (saw one in england in a toy shop).
Air Zone Power Strike 48. Those 'yellow bits' are darts, it holds a total of 48 of them in 12 barrels on one giant revolving cylinder.
but only autistic man children play nerf
You get to shoot people freely without needing equipment or having to worry about bruises or worse, don't see anything wrong with that.
Darts are harder to lose than tiny little balls.
>implying you reuse airsoft BBs or paintballs
