    I think you should recognise kill streaks in some way though. Maybe flames coming out of the player's gun, or a big head, or trails left in the air, or just one of those quake style announcements.

    Ah, confused the flags.

    Back on-topic, I seriously think something should be added as a reward for killing.. I can't quite describe it, but call of duties success is kill streaks and the fact that when you shoot somebody it gives you a little X, that little X gives you the "Yes! I got him" satisfaction and the kill streaks work as rewards which encourage you. In my opinion that would bring in/keep more players. As is I'm going to try to populate my server and have a constant 10 players on, just got to figure out how to make them stick.

    One idea I was thinking about for my own server I will make in the future would be a big, dynamic skill tree that branches into several areas with a wide variety of unlockable bonuses, Small because of the number of them. And possibly new character model unlocks.
    And changing combine vs rebels to 2 imaginary groups based in middle east with a new storyline.

    i have problem with automatic content download.
    i add "Green Shift content" to addons on server and FastDownload
    add lua file(like thist: http://paste.org/43379) to autorun/server
    when i try connect it says "1037 files left" but don't download
    but they are on fdl (http://178.19.107.242/gmod2/addons/)
    maby its a problem with space in name, or with addons folder

    anyone help me?

    If i remember correctly it needs to be /garrysmod/addons and not gmod2, could be wrong though.

    I think I'd love to see this on my Fretta server. Is it possible to make it compatible with Fretta in anyway, such as just derivering the gamemode from Fretta base? Or would it need a lot more than that (not just info.txt editing)?

    I've been hosting a listen server playing the gamemode with friends, I've got some suggestions if you don't mind.
    The footstep volume is insanely loud, and gets really annoying. Maybe change the constant in shared.lua local volume from 0.5 to 0.2?
    Also the shotguns are either broken or underpowered. I noticed right after reloading, the first shot at a wall makes no bullet holes in the wall. And they should be an instant kill point-blank.
    Turning on old Acog behavior doesn't hide the weapon when scoped.

    Of course this was all from version 1.11, I have no idea if these were fixed in 1.12 being not able to play that one
