they said they were experimenting with the idea, and it's completely possible; I had a theory on how it would all work a ways back in this thread, from creation to testing to moderation to delivery; problem is in content delivery and microsoft contracts. Microsoft pretty much wont allow any dlc these days that they wont profit somehow from, it's shit

I'd like to vouch for Fifa here - the improvements between Fifa 09, 10 and 11 are pretty tremendous.

Those stats really only mean anything from the beginning BTW. It makes the beginning of the game easier if you're going to spec a particular class from the get go with any particular race.

For those that didn't play Oblivion / Morrowind, here's a tip:

You can PROBABLY raise combat skills by beating up summoned monsters again.

This is how it goes:

To speed up the process you can use the Warrior stone to learn all skills 20% faster. Also someone told me that *ahem* getting married and going to bed with your spouse will allow you to get a "VERY well rested" temporary perk that allows you to learn skills like 40% faster.

Here's where it gets interesting. You can summon monsters anywhere. In Oblivion I raised hand to hand to level 70 just by summoning zombies in my bedroom in my mansion and punching them to death.

In Skyrim, theoretically if the Warrior stone and lover's Perk stacks, you can get jiggy with your wife and then run into the basement and start conjuring monsters and kicking their asses to learn skills up to 60% faster than normal.

Grind mode involving romancing an NPC.

If the thread's going to go off the rails, I might as well add that I've always found MP post-CoD4 rather sameish. It's always been the SP that's done it for me - like a good Clancy, it bashes you over the head and then leads you by the hand to the heights of incredulity. Being able to stop taking it seriously after DC got nuked made me start enjoying the damn thing and getting into the moment.

Anyway, I might as well add that I'm pissed at Telvanni root buildings. It's a clipping nightmare. I'm surprised the testers way back didn't sperg out on it.

Archer/mage dunmer, my favorite way of playing tes, but I always carry a sword or an axe around just for occasional close battles; most of my fighting I do with magic though

I have to say, I fucking loved the campaign and the multiplayer of CoD4, but they kind of fucked it up with the stupid spawn rotations in the newer games; and it's become a LOT more run and gun than I remember it being...

Even so, best way I found to play CoD is with a friend that you can communicate with, watching eachother's backs/corners, pretty much unstoppable. Great in split screen.
