Probably been asked already but I figure I'll ask anyway. How is this site shaping up? Is it as filled with little kids as facebook is?
I'm interested in getting an invite but I'm worried that it'll become facebook v2 and be filled with 13 year olds and flash game ads the week after it goes public.

You have to be 18 to get in now, and when it's fully released you'll have to be 13 or older to sign up, right now it looks like they're not going to have flash games or any of that crap in it.
Though that earns a lot of money so if Google+ overtakes Facebook, it'll happen.

My Facepunch circle: filled with kids, for the most part
My "Following" circle: filled with brilliant people
My Sports circle: filled with not-necessarily-brilliant people that I can talk to when there's a game going on
So it is whatever you make it, at whatever specific time that you make it that.

I'm sure there are still a lot of people I need to add, but I'm at 243 people in my circles right now

I'm guessing a troll did it, but someone may have flagged it cause I had a fake last name. I've changed it already but according to the FAQ I'm supposed to get either fully suspended, or back online within 24 hours.

I don't like how you can see who a post is being shared with. The only time this would matter is if you had some crazy friend who was narrowing down who you were blocking posts from and telling the people who couldn't see them, but why does anybody need access to that information?

I am in love. Started using it about a week ago and I'll admit it took awhile to figure it out but once I did the simplicity of it astounded me. I love the privacy options, plus the ability to only share certain things with certain people. Like if I want my friends plus my dad to see something, but not my mom, I can do just that.

I've only had an account up since last night. But I already like it, even for a Beta it's really nice, the layout is excellent, it flows really well and made perfect sense. Facebook looks awful compared to it, feels like shit to use and is clunky. I kind of wish that the better friends I have on Facebook would respond to my post on Facebook about getting invites off me.

I've seen a few posts here about people being suspended for pseudonyms. This is for you:
An ex-Googler (very recently left) / activist who has used a pseudonym for years (Skud) was suspended from G+ a few days ago for that reason.
She wants to collect data on name-violation suspensions. You can fill out a short survey here:
