If you go into wifi in settings and press the menu button you can set wifi to turn off with the screen

But that drains far more battery than just leaving it on. Might as well just leave it off when you're not really using WiFi.

It doesn't. My 2.2 turned wifi off with the screen, and the battery drained less than after the 2.3.5 update.

I still can't get myself to like the Go Launcher. I think I really prefer HTC Sense with some live wallpaper and some custom widgets.
I just don't like the way GO changed the settings around.

But I have a feeling in a day I'll want to go back and start this process over again.

What kind of ROMS or launcher do you guys use?

guys, KP8 leak is out for the GS2: CyanogenMod9 already has a build with it

working RIL with NITZ, though no camera and haptic feedback works perfectly then screws up after going into deep sleep

What other music apps do you have installed? Some rom makers like to put Google music in system apps and it messes up updates.

I tried to install it on CM7,MIUI and ICS so it's a hardware block

But I don't care, I have downloaded the apk and I am now listening to Sherlock Holmes OST from the cloud

It was actually on by default for me and it was a bitch to find that option. I think it's very annoying when I'm at home and it starts using 3G as soon as the screen turns off.
