The first thing I'm doing as head-honcho is giving DanielRatherman a long overdue promotion to Loremaster.

In all seriousness, the admins did not grief you, they filled your rule-breaking mine, there's nothing wrong with doing that.

The only thing the "corrupted admins" has done to you is filled your 1x2 mine and told you to not make "waterwalls" because this is a roleplaying server. That's some heavy griefing.

According to Soyuz the political map is WIP, so you can't choose a place yet.

Well, some are but in the case of the Fortress it wouldn't really make sense. You could keep your character but either way, I doubt you'll be able to keep your inventory so you may as well make a new character if you're trying to preserve that. Also, which house were you looking to join?

It should also be noted that the flatness is intentional, after all, they are plains, and we all agreed it adds a more fantasy feel.

We had generated the map a few times and on one iteration we ended up with very steep peaks and very small flat areas, sort of a cartoony styled RPG world. It was quite cool, just if you find that interesting.I checked the new map, and:
