He's got Pema. They have lots of love, as is evidenced by their four children.
I just want to know if the other woman was a bender so he left her so that he could always have kids that were air benders. Hell people are already shipping TenzinxLin after this episode because of what Pema said.
Edited:
This episode seemed to be restrained by the writers' time budget very much (of an episode and the total amount of episodes they've got). They did an excellent job with what they were given, but a conflict that has been set up over multiple past episodes can't suddenly reach its peak and resolve in a single one for me. It just throws off the pacing. Maybe they'll pick it up again and this was just supposed to show the team goes through thick and thin in more than one way, but for the moment it just feels kinda rushed.
I also felt like they could've let the drama linger for a bit more until it was dissolved by comedic relief in the scene with Bolin getting wasted on noodles or something. Not even sure if his "baaaw ;_;" face was supposed to be genuinely sad or overplayed for comedic effect. I think they could've used the character that's always quick to crack jokes and lighten the mood to point out he's the real joke or make his humor turn darker for a while.
I wonder if the writers didn't want to include another angsty minute of if it's about the channel's image and that of the airtime right before Spongebob.
I think if they had more time they would of done more with Drunk Bolin. Maybe he just would of just started using bending against Mako but it would of been interesting. Also the sorry would of made a bit more sense in my opinion.
