I believe I have dyspraxia. Should I visit a doctor?
No buts or ifs, this is something neurological that needs experts.
Anyone have a good cure for cold/flu? I already tried amputation, it diddn't work.
i keep on getting this weird feeling in my head
like it started about year ago, behind my eyes. something like that feeling you get when you stick your finger just in front of that dip in your nose - except this is duller. since then, it's moved to the top-ish of where i guess my brain is, and now i guess it's right in the middle. it's weird, because i know i shouldn't be able to feel anything there - no nerves. but what really weirds me out is the fact that it mostly occurs nowadays whenever i see, hear or think of something distressing.
it's not debilitating, but it's a little scary. it does get distracting sometimes, when it pops up, but i guess the questions i want to ask are:
1) is this normal?
2) can i get rid of it?
Feels like I have to piss. Go to bathroom, piss only a little.
What do I do?
If a symptom has stayed with you for a year. It's time to seek proper help.
So, I get these little lumps - sometimes they turn into these big bumps, and sometimes they let themselves. Other times they don't and just go away.
Well, I've got one around the crack of my ass (Yeah, I know, right?) It hasn't been much of a problem but has been painful, it's been there for about 2 weeks and has been letting for about a week. Until today, the discharge has been purulent. Well, I noticed today via my underwear that the discharge is now this blackish stuff.
Is that anything to worry about?
An unrelated issue that I've noticed over the past couple of years is that if like, I hold on to something for more than 5 minutes, my hand starts to get this pain. If I hold onto it for around 10 to 15 minutes, rigor starts to set into my hand and it continues being painful. This used to be a problem when I worked a light construction job, using a hammer for more than a few minutes at a time was damn near impossible. Also doing things like cutting the grass and weed eating are kind of tough too. I just kinda push my way through it and rest in the end.
Biting the affected area seems to distract me from the pain, but doesn't really help with the rigor. What's up?
I'm thinking about getting a doctor's appointment for my serious case of fucked up mental state, i get chills all the time, there's the fainting issue i have, sometimes i get massive headaches and i have horrible memory, i could pick up a soda can, and a minute later, forget that i even had it in my hand and spill it everywhere. Too bad i can't afford to see a doc at the moment.
I'm pretty sick and I dont know what's wrong; I don't have a fever, but I feel really weak, I have the chills but I get hot under a blanket, I have a constant cough and my eyes feel kinda drowsy and they water a lot. I also have this full body pain.
I've been getting plenty of sleep, and I take two Niquil pills every six hours.
whats wrong with me dr facepunch
I posted in the sleep thread about this, but might as well get a wider view.
I've been sleeping for up for 15 hours a day if I'm not setting an alarm, It's like I just don't wake up when I'm done sleeping.
I just noticed that there's a blueish lump in the skin going from thumb to index. It's definitely not a vein and when I stretch my thumb / press down on it, it feels like there's two of them. I'll take a picture tomorrow when I'm awake. Any ideas, FP?
So, I have arthritis and X-linked hypophosphatemia (although the latter might be unrelated). My arthritis has been acting up recently, probably due to allergies (I believe my arthritis is linked to my immune system, like an auto-immune disease or some such). Now, a few days ago, I accidentally rolled over in my sleep and slept on my affected side, the left.
Since then, my hip has been hurting MUCH MUCH more than it usually does, and I can barely walk without a odd sort of limp where I bend sideways to put as little amount of pressure as I can on my left leg. I have no idea what's causing it, and it has been going on for ~3 days now.
What worries me is that, I know I have been in this position before, IE with more extreme than usual arthritis, but I have no idea how to get rid of it.
I have been getting a sharp pain around my bladder area whenever I fart, piss, or crap.
Could it have been the curry I had last night?
Keep in mind that I regulary have curries every saturday night. And it has never been a problem before
I'm having problems getting any fat on my body (I'm 16, and i weight around 60-65kg.), But still, i don't want to eat, cause i fear my acne might get worse.
I'm thinking about eating LOADS of healthy food, does it sound like a good idea?
see a dermatologist about the acne if it gets worse, avoid really greasy food, but otherwise eat what you want
eating like a normal 16 year old boy isn't going to cause you longterm health problems.
Everyonce ina while I'll randomly get chest pain, it hurts when I move my chest area but if I stay still it seems to go away. Am I dying?
I have no idea how much i should sleep. I try sleeping eight hours and i wake up feeling very drowsy and i can't even open my eyes, i try 12-16 hours i'm still very tired and when i try sleeping two or so hours somehow i can stay up the whole day but sometimes i still feel tired.
Also, sometimes randomly in the middle of the day my head will feel a little dizzy, dizzy enough to where i have to put my head down.
Just had another episode of the fainting that i have. It came on fast and i did everything i could to stop from falling, and i managed to stay standing by clenching every muscle in my body as hard as i could. It came on so fast and so rapidly, i actually pissed myself, and when i clenched my entire body to stop from falling, i also shat my pants. Last thing i remembered before i lost consciousness entirely, was turning around and putting my hands on the wall, and i remember not being able to feel the wall with my hands, i went deaf and blind, then lost consciousness while screaming in my head "NO NONONO".
It's the same as when you do exercises with heavy weights like deadlifts and squats, overwork yourself and get oxygen cut off to your brain or something. I suddenly experienced this for no clear reason, one time I was just sitting in bed, and right now I was eating food. I go deaf, except for loud ringing or this really fucking weird sound like when you screw with a bendy straw - I don't know how to describe it. It only lasts for like 5 seconds, but it's kinda worrying me.
My body has seriously been fucking me over lately. I suddenly developed panic disorder for two months, then the panic attacks disappeared as mysteriously as they came. Weird ass episodes of pains in my chest/ribcage when I try breathing, and sleeping disorders getting even worse. I'm tired as fuck from the moment i (try to) wake up, then suddenly at like 4-5 in the afternoon I switch back to normal and get all this energy that lasts for what seems to be forever. I can't sleep. I tried melatonin, but that just knocks me out for 2-3 hours and I wake up with shittons of energy. If I try sitting in bed without taking melatonin pills, then I will literally lie there for 6 hours without getting sleep.
My family doctor is freakin' useless and I'm going to see another one that can help with my issues. I'm going to tell her about my sleeping issues (i've been an insomniac my entire life pretty much) and the chest problems, I guess I should tell her about the weird dizziness/fainting moments. I did a few google searches and apparently this happens to a lot of people, caused by low blood sugar and stress - Not sure about the low blood sugar, but I sure as hell have been getting a lot of stress lately.
It feels like you're fainting but you're not. If it is related to anxiety, it's purely psychological and you need to take time to relax. I do a lot of meditation and working out, and the anxiety episodes are a lot less frequent. If the episodes do come up, I have some breathing exercises that help me. You should probably seek psychological help.
It may be related to your sleep problem. Do you play a lot of games and stuff before you go to bed? It's wise to not do anything(watching tv is ok though) before you go to bed. Having a normal sleep pattern is also wise. It's something that can take weeks before it works out.
This thread went from jokingly funny to seriously dry.
I have a large amount (around 17) blackish brownish dots on my right foot, they are not painful but feel VERY odd.
Any ideas what they are or how the hell i get rid of them?
