    I'm pretty sure someone made glowing red eyes for pyro without a pupil. Let me find a picture of it.

    I want this in game so damn much. I haven't seen any styled things added in several months, unless you count the Splendid Screen. The sore eyes are way up there on my list of items that need styles though.

    I'm working on making my own cheesy class icons for the hud.

    Having very little photo shop experience getting them transparent is a bitch.


    Spy, pyro, soldier, demo, engineer.

    The demoman one I'm definitely thinking of changing, if I could find out how to team color a full picture of JC with out fucking it up.

    No work on it and try to get the TF2 style with the texture, don't use imported textures in your vtf and use square brushes and rough gray marks for the middle part. also fix smoothing groups on the top

    So I just found out that my alpha channels don't work.
    No matter what I save my Phong as, it still doesn't affect the model at all.
    Am I, as usual, doing something wrong?

    So I just found out that my alpha channels don't work.
    No matter what I save my Phong as, it still doesn't affect the model at all.
    Am I, as usual, doing something wrong?

    If you are exporting it directly from photoshop to vtf then something with alpha masks break.
    Save it as a tif and then import it to vtf

    make sure you have "$basemapalphaphongmask" "1" in your vmt

    Oh come on now. It's definitely not pitiful as you had a decent idea of what to make, a gentlemenly demo set, he needs to have more of those. Still, I'd say you need to learn how to make more interesting meshes. Your monocle looks like something out of Goldeneye 64 (not saying the game is bad, but it just looks like it came from that era), so does your hat.

    Bah, humbug. I'm starting to think getting team colours to work with sineselfillum is impossible.

    No matter what I try, it either ends up with just the white pulsing glow or just the plain old non-pulsing team colours. Rather tiresome, to say the least. It's rather tiresome really.

    Anyway, Ronin your Stalhelm looks miles better than the RO2 promo one, could you modify yours to fit soldier and make it a replacement for it?
