    Will we be able to drove from infrastructure location to location, or magical teleport? Also, cut-scenes or all in controls of player, a la Half-Life?

    There might be some driving included and there will also be cutscenes for some actions.

    Could just be me but in my opinion the lighting in these three screenshots clash a lot. The first two are pretty bright and all, and the third screenshot looks alot like HL2's atmosphere (not that I mind though, but it's a vague art direction)

    That's the exact point. The office, which is bright and modern, is the first thing the player sees and then the player will experience the contrast between old and new as he moves to the rural areas, which are dull and abandoned.

    This mod looks great from here, and it does have some potential, if you add some interesting gameplay mechanics like repairing.

    Objects need self-shadowing badly here. The brushwork does, too; the way those stairs have a very stark contrast to the ground below it give a sense of fakeness.
