Nice, but horizont line is messed up (like on a moon) and leave the clouds ! :D Coast is a bit light, reflections are cool though ...

Cool but the coast is too dark :D and no reflections of the moon on the water.

There were no reflections of the sun on the water so why would there be reflections of the moon?

I just masked out the sky, masked out the water, put a flipped version of the sky on overlay, and lowered the brightness. Pretty simple.

Pretty nice! but i can see the outlines of the mountains, also, the land area looks too bright, other than that, absolutely gorgeousis it just me or does this sentence make no sense at all

the outlines of the mountains are on purpose because I thought that the moon looked so bright it would shed some light on the mountains

I messed up the curves on the coast, it's actually supposed to be blue-ish not orange. I might fix it up laterI see no stars

I would be so happy if I got some of these backgrounds as skybox textures for Hammer :D
Goodthief - Sharp tool looks terrible (look at these colored dots) and also that is still too bright and colored, nothing is colored at different colors at night.
I will add another image, 3 pictures more and we will vote :)
Capsadmin - that is amazing but I dont really know why do I fell that this is a bit unreal, like from black & white photos etc. Also the moon is a bit bigger than in real life

I didn't use the sharp tool at all those are white dots from the original image that got screwey when I added colour, I can easily remove them.
ahhh now you've made me want to fix it

Other things are cool. But..
Add stars and remove light/dark stripes on the forests which were casted by a sun, remove some shadows of the mountains..
Edit: I didnt noticed that this moon is cat face. :<
