Why are there so many people who insist on joking on us because we have "plastic guns" and "gay military pictures"

Some girls may think it's creepy to be running around in the woods in camo and tactical gear with fake guns. But those are the ones that probably aren't worth your time anyway.

I think people have the wrong idea about airsoft, but it is there loss-it's a great hobby!
Oh and I play airsoft and I have a girlfriend, she doesn't think it's creepy.

It is NEVER a good idea to pretend you're active duty. EVER. Me, i'm as close to being in the military without actually joining the military, and i STILL get a 10% military discount wherever i go. Because of this i automatically hate anyone who are clearly not military pretend to be military.

The only two people i know of that dislike of airsoft are:
1. a jock i had P.E class with who goes paintballing, says airsoft is for pussies because it doesn't hurt. He was talking about walmart springers.
and 2. My best friend online, and i think he only hates it because he sees the money i'm pouring into the "toy guns".
I get on him about starcraft, we argue for an hour then completely disregard what each other had just said and start back on casual "so what's up" conversation.

Well I know a dude on FB and he's friggin annoying, all he posts is airsoft. He wears ACU and tacticooled his M4, it's a bit of a travesty. He thinks he's a hot shot because he's some kind of Sherriff's assistant or something, which irks me a bit more.
