Yeh all of the manchester based F&O sites have closed down and leeds for anzio is a little too far away.
It's a shame, I loved those mill sites.
Are stirling the guys that do caterick? I've been there twice but it was quite a few years ago now.

Yeah Stirling are the guys at catterick and the marshaling has really took a nosedive recently.
Prime example:- several months ago at one of there role play games one of the members of the insurgent team managed to sneak up on a ISAT team patrol (read: three feet away) and detonated a blank firing grenade normally this would result in killing several members of the patrol but instead of calling it the members of the ISAT patrol simply ignored the BFG going off. But that isn't the clincher that would be the face that:-
A. one of the patrol members pulled out a pistol and fired at point blank into the BFG guys face and shot out several of his front teeth.
B. a marshal witnessed the entire little episode and did absolutely fuck all about it.

I had a similar issue when I was there (Minus the teeth, I've had teeth out from High fps + dumbfuckers before and had the owners give full bans) I chucked a BFG from the pipe nexus into the ground level building, then climbed out. I was shot in the back while getting out, the guy had been stood in the same room with a marshal and hadn't taken the grenade hit, when I questioned the guy the marshal gave me lip for using a nade in the tunnels.
They purposely bias towards the tan, rather than green insurgents.

Yeah its really fantastic, lots of buildings separated into little towns scattered around the field, but with plenty of open space in between for long distance engagements, sniping, etc.
There's something for pretty much everyone and you can go out with pretty much any gun and still fill a niche, which is awesome for me considering I might feel like using my Type 56 one minute and my flamethrower the next

Man you people get AWESOME fields. I've only played in 2 or 3 really awesome fields here, the others are just "meh" or outright shitty. Most of the best fields here in Chile are to the south (near my hometown) because it's full of woods, open fields, abandoned farms, etc. And it snows. Makes me jealous as fuck.

You could live here, where we have no good fields except for one that gets played once a month at most for the time being.

Best Airplane 2011:
We had a paratrooper mission where 15 of us were taken deep into enemy lines. As soon as the ref told us we were on the ground we were free to shoot and be shot. Unfortunately, our ref took us directly into the center of an enemy mob (enemies on all sides within 40 feet) with limited cover and gave us no warning before letting us know. Not a single one of us lasted over 45 seconds, and I took over 30 hits. First time I've legit raged in airsoft in years.

Found two more pictures from Saturday, figured I'd share 'em.
Me using the MP44. We were doing a scenario where one team had to ambush the other while they followed a route, and capture the VIP the ambushed group was escorting. I thought I was on VIP escort so I left the M60, turned out I was on the ambush team after all. If I'd known I'd be doing the ambushing, I'd have brought the pig along. Even without its firepower, though, I was able to take out four guys with perfect flanking fire, and we had the VIP within thirty seconds of the start of the attack. When the backup came to try to rescue him, though, was when we ran into trouble- this picture is of me covering the rest of the team as they fell back with the VIP. I have no idea what the guy behind me was doing.
And our whole group for the day.

@catbarf Where would I be able to find That mask you have there? Looks extreamly effective compared to a set of goggles.

It's a praetorian mask, I forgot the brand though.

Rampage, actually. Praetorian seems to be another brand name. I got it from eBay, if you search for 'rampage mask' you'll get a bunch of results. It's a very nice mask, well constructed and pretty durable. I do plan on wearing safety glasses under it, though, just in case a BB fragments. But it's nice because it covers the whole face and is very low profile so you can still use optics and get a proper cheek weld.

My Rampage cost me $30, and is easily just as good quality as the brassguards I've seen. Maybe not in SURPAT, but still, $30.
