He just wants to be a good calculator.
Here, have this 1080p 087 simulator footage.
I kinda wanna write an SCP on this
But I don't know if it should go in jokes or srs, or if it should be considered Safe or Euclid. If joke, possibly keter.
(I assume you all know what such vans contain. If not, it's-.. Probably the source of inspiration for Protocol 110-Montauk.)
That van is definite SCP fuel though.
When entered by a person above the age of approximately 15 years, depending on the mental maturity of the person, it'll seem like a regular, ill-kept van, containing a few scattered tools and often a dirty, moldy (Possibly blood/semen-strained) blanket in the corner, though interior may vary.
Containment is the tricky part, since if it's a 'quantum-van' that can only move when not observed, it would be as simple as to tow it to a site it and point a camera at it at all times, whereas other containment would seem near impossible. One removes the scariness of it, the other the SCP part of it.
IIRC there was one SCP that was a big black SUV or van that patrolled the roads of a forest in Russia, and it was known to be highly aggressive.
I'm pretty sure we already have a SCP like that, only it's a communist era vehicle that openly attacks passerbys, occasionally kidnaps them too, but it still appears and disappears out of nowhere.
And I guess there's already one similar anyhow.
On 231's discussion page.
I was reading through the Task Force list and found this, thought it was funny:
Haven't known about SCP until now. Been reading the SCP-087 expedition logs, and GODAMNIT.
So something my mind tends to do is spontaneously create fake trailers and videos whenever I'm reading, thinking, or listening to music.
So I'm just browsing SCP on a boring day when I scroll past the following in "Task Forces:"
"Mobile Task Force Omicron-9 (aka "Hot Zone Dancers"): Specializes in close-quarters battle in Level 4 Biohazard environments."
...In the next 10 minutes, I had a full trailer of an SCP action shooter themed to Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark." The worst part?
The song fit fucking expertly.
SCP - Sporting Clube de Portugal!
Well shit, getting raped by a bunch of guys covered in spiders. Pretty much worst thing ever.
You know, ever since I found the SCP Foundation a little over 2 years ago it's been probably my all time favorite website.
It has such a variety of content, and all of it is almost always so incredibly well written.
If I had to chose one website to only visit for the rest of my life, it would be the SCP Foundation.
I'f I'm ever bored, or I've hit a massive wall of writer's block, I browse the site for a half hour and all is well again.
One day I'm going to try and contribute to the Foundation, but until them I am just a simple reader.
God bless you SCP Foundation, you are the slayer of boredom and the sparker of creativity.
I find it rather ironic how the SCP before 231(ie:the one about brutally raping a little pregnant girl to the extent of killing a world-destroying demon baby growing inside her) is "The Gayest man in the World"
I wish I was accepted. I wanted to do a bunch of black market scps, complete with an mtf that specifically combed underground markets for such scps.
I have been reading the SCP 001. What is it? So many proposals, what it means?!
The top rated SCP-001 proposal is a gate to Eden, just for reference.
SCP-093 would make an awesome short film...or a long-ass movie depending on who would make it.
A collection of short films tailored to individual SCPs would work much better.
The last SCP-001 proposal(the new one,"The Foundation")is pretty interesting and also kinda scary when you think about it.
A summary of it is that some high school suddenly transformed overnight, started producing guards,"D-men" and scientists and started making anomalous objects in the atrium(which was sealed off by a giant metal wall out of nowhere during the transformation)that the scientists began containing and studying in the classrooms, later sending out two broken English morse code messages saying something along the lines of "Hello we are the Foundation we would like to be friends and have government funding"(at least that's what I interpreted from it).
Think a bit about it.
Wait nevermind I didn't understand it myself at all
If you look at the context of the article,it's completely different from all the other articles
It also seems to have been made in the 1950s
It's written by a branch of the FBI called the "Unusual Incidents Unit"
The SCP foundation IS the anomaly
No, Foundation, you are the anomaly.
And then Foundation was an SCP.
BOOM a predatory goddamn cloud up in this bitch
That's SCP-605 if you're interested
This one's p. interesting.
Two metal spheres, one in a perfect geosynchronous path around the earth, making it look like it's just floating but is immovable, the other orbiting the sun almost exactly in the same path as the Earth but looks like it's flying around very fast and is unstoppable(just shoots through whatever gets in its way),and the article states that if the two are to meet planetary evacuation may not be sufficient
