I heard that the Nexus Prime passed through the FCC today with GSM bands, does that mean no LTE or different versions of the phone?

Two different versions, the CDMA one went through the FCC a while ago with LTE support

The CDMA version will possibly be Verizon exclusive at launch, whilst the unlocked GSM version will probably be widely available

Sorta like what psycho said; I expect Verizon will have exclusivity on the LTE variant. The standard Nexus Prime will have HSPA+ for its 4G service.
