Why does Known Havok keep rating you dumb?
Probably because he's an alt of a permabanned user that I banned or something like that.

As in petabyte, the names are loosely based on si prefixes. Nothing at all to do with those crazy vegan folks.

    Note to US customers:
France OVH has a very bad connection to any country outside Europe.

@Hexxeh, I'll PM you a better alternative than OVH.

It's still pretty horrific to the US. Some of my friends on residential US connections max out at about 250kb/s from my OVH box. OVH just have really bad North American peering.

It's your call, but I'm only sharing my experience with OVH.

The majority of FP is American and I think that's your target for buyers.. As this is a site about a game they'll obviously run a Source gameserver or a Minecraft gameserver and get disappointing results.

And for those folks, I also sell US based servers.

OVH's datacenters are the ones with the crappy peering, the consumer ISP stuff might not suffer from the same issues.

Sold the last of the current batch today, no plans to expand further until at least January.

However, there's a cancellation due to take effect tomorrow, which'll free up a $10/m slot if you'd like to take that up. Drop a ticket via the billing area (you'll need to register as a client), and I'll place the order for you once the cancellation is processed.

Another VPS to a happy customer there!

I've got a couple more slots opening up within the next two weeks, if you're interested, drop me a ticket and I'll get in touch once we have availability.

There's a 1GB slice coming up on the US side tomorrow at $22.50/m, available tomorrow. I also have a 3GB EU slice (80GB disk, 1.5TB bandwidth) available today at $45/m.

As my first (And regrettably last) month is coming to the end I can say one thing.
Great service, Amazing CPU. Poor upstream uptime. The connection had lots of blackouts for me and there for the VPS was not useful to me. I would of kept it if the upstream problems where solved but there was no confirmation that it had.

The node you were on was the target of a DDoS for a period of around 6 days late November early December, these attacks have ended and network has been fine since then. I'm happy to move you to another node (with even faster CPUs) if this would persuade you to stay.

Heh, sorry man. Had a few servers running on either side I no longer need, so I've freed that space up to sell. Where did you end up going in the end? What's the price difference like?

If you get any 5/10 coming up soon, I'd love one. Any prediction on if/when one will be free?

    Edit:
That may be the first time I've ever seen an optimistic rating used in a context that could actually be optimistic.

You need EU? Drop me a ticket, I can sort you out. Not displaying EU Nanos via billing because they'll get balanced onto the wrong server, I want to process them manually and not sell too many.

I'm considering offering some different OSes via ESXi soon, I've been running Server 2008 R2 VM and OS X Lion VM for a little while now, performance seems pretty awesome.

I'll spend a few more weeks evaluating this, but it might become an option soon.
