When I record TF2 with fraps I have 60 FPS, when I don't record I have 200+. Thing is, when I'm opening the .avi file it goes ok in the beginning but then starts to lag more and more the further you get into the clip.
How long is this clip? could it just be your media player buckling under the weight of the raw file?

I suggest converting it into something like h264 then playing it back to see if the lag is still there. If it is it's fraps, if it isn't it's the large file

Helping a friend convince a friend not to buy a apple laptop for gaming. He wants a lpbtop that can run borderlands, and has a 2000 dollar budget. I'm sure any of you could recommend something less that could run borderlands.

The word of the day is laptop.

I thought it was common knowledge that Apple laptops aren't for gaming? Link him a Sager or Clevo or something, just tell him not to go overboard with it, the more he spends the less he's going to get for his money.

Whoops. I've always referred to them as labtops even though it's incorrect, at a young age I thought that's how you said it.

anything is possible to fix but probably easier to cover it up and move on

how did you manage to break a USB pin anyway?

Call your computer manufacturer (or if it's a custom build then whoever built the case) and ask if there's a replacement part for the front USB ports

should be relatively painless to install

Yeah. If you're using Windows' in-built partioner you should have some options.

Just an optional mount from laptop hdd to desktop hdd. If it's sata. Your case may have came with one, for a ssd.

Since nobody reacted on my post and im an attention whore im gonna ''bump'' it, and i also have a new question

    First the new one:
I have a Scythe Samurai ZZ CPU cooler and for some reason my CPU is idle 50c and while playing games it reaches to 55c but not higher, my dad already put some Artic silver thermal paste on it.
I dont know if this is software or hardware, but im thinking to buy a new fan to put on my Samurai ZZ.
Now what i wanna ask is : Which fan is a good one that cools the heatsink very good? it has to be 92mm.

    And my other question :
I think if buying a new case, with space for a graphic card (if they even get bigger in future) and cooling (AMD)
My budget is very low, im having like 30 euro's atm but i can wait till i have 50/60 euro's

edit : is the T9 Value a good case?

First of all, don't use Windows partitioner. Use EASEUS Partition Master Home; it's free and very intuitive.

because you're using a VPN that tunnels itself through their servers, encrypts the data, then proceeds to route that connection through sweden and/or the netherlands?

Welp I dun goofed. Installed a new mobo+CPU forgetting the fact that my drivers are now going to be all fucked. Needless to say, Windows 7 BSOD's on boot.

Quick question before I re-assemble my old computer again to properly uninstall all my drivers - is it possible to get windows 7 to work again with a repair installation? What if I am using an OEM disk?
