I'm currently an 84 enhancement shaman. At 85 I intend to farm bgs, to get points to convert to gear so I can get into heroics and gear up.

I plan to go resto because my guild needs more healers and tanks.

Would it be a better idea then to change my current spec to Elemental so I won't have to swap as much gear when it comes to switching between dps/heals?

I don't know any of the dragon soul fights, but apparently the LFR version is shit easy (as are the HoT heroics)

Would i still do fine just jumping into one and just rolling with it, youtube is not working for me today as flash is having a crashfest

dont even bother with youtube the fights are so simple to figure out in lfr and if youre too stupid to figure out then open the dungeon journal

If you want your offspec to be good, you'd want a separate set of gear for Elemental anyway.
You can do Ele with Resto gear, but your DPS is going to suck because you aren't reforged correctly. And you won't have the right set bonuses if you're using the Resto tier gear.

If you're going to have an entirely different set of gear, you can do either Elemental or Enhancement. It's just a personal preference.

Yeah but it's all the hassle of carrying an entirely separate set of gear round with trinkets, weapons, etc which also takes damage now (thanks alot blizz) 1 wipe and my bill will fucking shoot through the roof.

What do you mean? When you die, only the gear you have equipped takes durability loss. Gear in your bags isn't affected.

I've found that when I die in raids items in my bags are taking durability damage even though I'm not ressing at a spirit healer.

But all the BoE loot and such I've collected isn't taking any, only soulbound items are.

I've got totally different gear for my Holy and Shadow.

If you keep items with spirit, it usually loses a haste, etc... equip buff.

You can buy the normal version, but the level cap is on 70 and you don't have access to the Worgen and Goblin race, also the Death Knight Class. When you purchase Wrath, the level cap is increased to 80, and when you have reached lvl 55 with any character, you can make a Death Knight character and Northrend is also unlocked. If you buy Cataclysm, the level cap is increased to 85, and you can create characters that are Worgen and Goblin.
