Have been playing the game for a few days now, and it's really fun! Decided to start as a ''standard'' Jedi Knight (Sentinel) Currently lvl 14 and having loads of fun :)

Started a bounty hunter. When I get to level 10 upgraded class, I am planning on selecting healer.
With healer bounty hunter, what level until I get a skill that "heals" people? Or is it just consumables?
um go to a skill trainer and click show all on the dropdown arrow, click mercenary and then boom you can see all abilities you get, and then when you get to 10 you can preview the skil ltree and see all the other healing stuff
The Operative (Agent Healer/DPS AC) gets a healing ability right from level 10. I think it's fair to say the same would apply for the Mercenary.
Pretty sure Mercenary gets one at level 10, and another a couple levels later
Alderaan is so empty on the Namiidi Corridor server :(
Wow i've always wanted to play a star wars MMO this is going to be aweso-well fuck you too then
the heat
They should rename this game Star Wars: The old Inquisitors.
Lightning Spam HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I have more fun playing my republic trooper than my sith assassin
Bounty Hunter is my fave class.
So I finish my quest on Hutta as my Agent, I goto the fleet and see over 200 people, I goto my Trooper and see 76 people....
Polished.
republic sucks everyone knows they win eventually, play a damn imperial and live it up
Edited:
thats the new ati drivers isnt it
Alright, so I picked Synthweaving, Archaeology and Underworld Trading as crew skills for my main, and I've decided on Artificing for my alt character.
Should I give my alt account Archaeology as well, or should I just choose a completely unrelated skill? if so, what do you all suggest
biochem/bioanylsis/diplomacy for every character
Is slicing not worth it anymore?
it was never worth it after like level 30
why take slicing when you could be making phat reusable medpacks and stims and adrenals
Or you can just have both.
Edited:
Though Slicing is slow and you'll want to get Diplomacy eventually.
On the server I play on, the average amount of people in the republic fleet is about 12-15.
Edited:
My friend and I found a group of invincible sand people that constantly evade and randomly insta heal all their hp.
Your server sounds dead, you should switch. VV
Not everyone wants to rroll, they should offer free transfers at the start since no one knows where to settle down, I settled down on Swiftsure but I'd like it if it stayed at full population forever.
What I said was an inside joke. Please don't try to understand and misinterpret it.
At which level can you get a vehicle?
25
I'm having a problem installing the game. Whenever I go to patch it has an error then attempts to download something 11gb in size. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
How is Powertech for DPS?
Happens from time to time on old ones too, unfortunately. I hate the newer ATI Drivers because of what they do to in-game foliage, but the older ones that don't have that problem put graphic errors in everything in Battlefield 3

Biochem is also getting a slight nerf
The healing done by the Rakata medpacs are going to be reduced, and the medpacks are going to share the same cooldown as the PvP heal
Still going to be the Crew Skill, though. The nerf is only slight.
Great. I use it.
Does anyone know a guide in the basic stuff of the game? I know how the fighting systems work, but I'm still a bit confused about the shortcuts you guys use (DPS and stuff)
It's mostly just basic MMO talk. Just look around for that. DPS means Damage per second, it also means the role some characters play, or Damage Dealers.
DD = Damage Dealer
LFG = Looking for Group
LFM = Looking for more
i only see that as a nerf for pvp...
Edited:
people charge way too much for med supplies from diplomacy on my server
You only need diplomacy for the really high end biochem stuff, but if you have Slicing it shouldn't be much of a problem.
you need diplomacy to make resuables, and purple med supplies are either jacked up in price or very rare, so in the long run its better to take diplomacy at the start and level it to be on par with biochem
or if you don't care about anything other than the rakata stuff for yourself, don't even bother with diplomacy.
If he's picking up Slicing I doubt he's at the level to use them.
