So I just got a samsung galaxy s2, any recommended apps or something?
So I just got a samsung galaxy s2, any recommended apps or something?
There's a thread for that.
I suggest Go launcher, Go locker and PowerAMP
The essentials.

Yeah sorry about that, Didn't check the rest of the google subforum.
Loving the phone so far, shall I stick with default rom or go with cyanogen?
Your choice to root n flash. But get used to the phone and android first.
Use it for a few weeks and get to know your phone before you decide to flash ROM's on it.
Got my new Sennheisers and the Poweramp EQ setup... Damn it sounds amazing.
Today, i went to the mall with a friend. He was an iPhone fanboy and he always gloats about it, while bashing android at the same time. Then i pointed out that you can have a huge ass phone. He was like "fuck android! Those phones aren't any bigger than my iPhone!" I was like challenge accepted and I showed him the galaxy note at a phone store. He compared it. I can see the amazement in his eyes. Then he stormed off. LOL.
Which Sennheiser's model are you using?
I'm look at the Sennheiser HD 380 Pro for my SGS II with PowerAMP, but looking for some feedback before I make the final decision.
the iPhone 4's screen size is ridiculously small for what it is it feels like.. it's like what 3 somethin inches? This is a definite improvement for their next phone..

Thanks for the advice I think I'll do just that. I was mostly leaning towards the Nexus for ICS, but other phones are getting that in due time anyways if I'm not wrong so it shouldn't be a big deal.
CX-200 Earbuds, got them for 15$ on newegg they're usually 50$ so you can't argue for that value. Bass is pretty good on these. For home use I have the Audiotechnica ATH-AD700 which I should try out as well now that I think about it.
My pleasure. Word of advice to anyone who's planning on getting a phone is not to rush your decision.
Calm down and get a good overview of what's out there and play around with different phones in retail shops before you decide which phone to get.
As long as its an android, its usually all good.

Next wave of Steam Mobile beta invites are out, I got another one. Same procedure as before if you want it.
It's gone.
What was the procedure?
i want one
I doubt they'll change the size
I have a somewhat decent Sennheiser HD201, the quality is pretty good but it's as natural as sound gets - there's no bass or any improvements whatsoever. However using any amp/good (*cough* non-PlayerPr0) equalizer, they actually sound great for their price tag.
Edited:
please don't do that
How are you able to get multiple ones but I haven't gotten a single one?
Edited:
Prob not going to void my warranty.
I signed into the mobile app with both my accounts about 5 minutes after it launched.
Voided warranty is temporary. You can remove all traces of root if you need to claim warranty on your phone.
Unless they are actually going for something else but the aesthetics then they'll probably just keep the current size.
The size right now is within the range of "the golden ratio", something that Apple is very fixed on.
OK sir.
The Steam android app is awesome.
How many pages do you guys have on your homescreen, and do you use folders?
Forgot to mention my previous phone was a HTC Desire HD running cyanogen, was a old version though that i never bothered updating, how i cyanogen running nowadays?

Supposedly everything except USB works, but it's TW themed. I'm trying it now.

Does this mean CM9 will finally continue it's progress? I heard they were stuck because they couldn't get sound and the camera app to work.

Oh Shit son a CM9 port for my phone
also we are JUST NOW getting an official CM7.2 when we've had a fully functional unofficial 7.1 for many months, huehuehue
Seriously, what the fuck Galaxy Nexus?
I charged my phone for eight hours until 8am to 100%... went to bed (yay, fucked up sleep-schedule FTW), had the phone in my discarded jeans' pocket... I was laying down to go to sleep and heard "vrrrrt" from my pants...
I reached in and grabbed my phone -- only to watch the damn thing restart itself for no apparent reason. When it did, Airplane mode was switched on, and couldn't be switched off...
So I restarted it again, noticed that all was functioning nominal... battery was at 98% and I went to sleep for seven hours.
When I woke up, my phone was OFF... and wouldn't restart. I had to pop the battery out and reinsert it. The phone booted up, told me that the battery was very low (a red exclamation mark) and told me to connect my charger. Then it switched itself off.
What the fuck? The battery drained in sleep-mode over the course of 7 hours, from full charge?
Anyone else getting this glitch?
The Steam mobile app is unimpressive. It needs some major work done to it.
BETA
Does keeping steam in the background running drain out battwry?
