Nice try but that screen is over a year old and from an unfinished section of the game, and even if it was it's not on the highest graphics settings.

If you look closely at the textures, you will see that they are higher resoluted. So, yeah, the Atomic Punch has low graphical settings.

Even if this mod gets released and it's great (which it may not be), the way the BM:S team has been run is utterly unforgivably stupid. I mean, it's one thing not to give the fans anything, but just telling the team to produce a product without saying why and what everyone else is doing is just stupid.

If you're going to get this far into development, shouldn't you know what you're doing? I know that they have obligations to finish it since this since it's a hobby, but shouldn't you have a plan? This whole thing was managed so poorly.

I bet they'll release it and when people complain about inconsistency in quality the people behind the mod would go "See! You should have stopped complaining!" instead of going "Yeah, we made some poor choices and we just had to release it and get it out of the way. Hope you enjoy it despite it having a few flaws."

There's a certain point where wanting the best for your fans becomes obsessive perfectionism.

Fuck, I doubt they're even doing it for the fans now with the way they basically said "you guys will complain no matter what we do so we're going to go with the way that gets the most complaints!" I bet they're just doing it because they've been trying for a while and they have nothing better to do.

I think some of them are the "It's perfect and you can't complain about it!" crowd that have been hassled to the point of "You're going to complain about it no matter what so fuck you!" crowd.

Don't let the people complaining about it bring you down. You'll look like a douchebag if you spend all of your time talking shit to people. At a certain point, you'll have to accept that it's not perfect.

I'm confident someone will. Hell I wouldn't even mind if someone ported over the model from HLS, I like the HL1 turret more than this HL2-esque version.
