Wasn't meaning for them to actually look like real mountains. They just look cool as fuck with their caves. All I did was put some cylinders up.

Haven't played minecraft in fucking ages, got bored and decided to make something.

Was inspired by the above football pitch and decided to make my own one to realistic scale.

Here's an hour or two's work on it.





Pitch is 91x46, which is more or less the scale of an actual pitch, and I plan to build the stands like that all the way around, with directors boxes and other goodies. The stands will be accessible via stairs & access ramps and I'll possibly also make food vendors, hospitality suites, commentator & staff areas, offices and whatever else I feel like making

I also ensured the entire pitch is visible from any seat (red block) which is why the higher seats are at a sharper angle, accurate to real football stadiums.

I foolishly built it half-way into a snow biome and midway through stand construction it started snowing which fucked up the pitch with shitty snow. I'm not sure right now how to stop snow & clear the pitch, but I'm sure it'll be possible.

Just checked and your dimensions of this are just above the minimum dimensions of a real football pitch if one block is 1 meter as the minimum is 90x45.

Yep. I'm Freak472. And this is on a server with a host that is currently at war with plugins, meaning we're on a whitelisted 1.1 server. Sometime next week, it should be public and on 1.2

Speaking of arenas, here's mine. Kinda stopped development because had not time on my hands. Going to finish it some time later I guess.
I plan on adding a roof, entrances, bars and all that shit, making it more realistic.
Don't pay attention to the dome thingy, it should be a stage. I was thinking about mega fucking concert hall but changed my mind and decided to make it bigger and multi-purpose.

I told him to look through this thread for something, but he couldnt find anything with enough pictures.

Is there anything in a particular style he's looking for? I've always thought obsidian towers look quite aesthetically pleasing, but what I have in mind probably wouldn't fit in a happy-clappy grass field.

(That's a trench that I'm digging around the mountain and filling with lava. Need to hunt a lot of Creepers to get enough TNT.)

15,000+ blocks and counting.

The perimeter is almost completely mob-free now. Only a few spider incursions so far

I found a NPC's mod complete with Dialogues, decided to make a huge world in which all NPC's are able to be killed, don't like that King? Kill him. I'm not limiting kills. (They will respawn though, hostile mobs n all.)

If I can make everything look like I imagine it, as it is right now, this will be an amazing living world.
