Well if he lost enough games to drop his MMR down enough to get demoted the players WOULD be less difficult since they would have lower MMR as well.
The point is his MMR should already be at a state of 1:1 wl ratio and dropping a league isn't the reason he'd find easier opponents
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY BABY!
huge win streak:
I'm hoping that they'll move me into Silver soon. I feel like I'm good enough to compete at that league now.
What the hell? You rush all the time or what? Less than six minutes between every match?
Yeah my Masters friend taught me a build where you rush out at 4:30 as Terran and it wins me pretty much all of my matches
nice to know you have good memory skills when you're thinking of your cheese build
What?
Anyways, I just lost my first match in like 15 games. It turned out to be a Diamond smurf though, so I'm not that upset.
SO I just did a private test of my resident evil map with my friends and we all got fucking smashed by the Nemesis on our first try. Played again and we beat him much easier.
My question is, should a boss be easily beatable once you know the gimmick on how to win or should it still be challenging. Because I feel like once you've played it Once, you'll never have trouble winning it the next time, is bad.
First time should be impossible. Second time should be easier, but it should never be easy. You should try and randomize things a bit so he is unpredictable.
Alright good idea, I dont see it being to hard to make it so that every time you play the map the boss can do one of two things but the general idea on how to beat him will be the same. Thanks for the suggestion!
Also, from the news section,
This man deserves a medal.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

with good micro yes.
try a marine tank style.
also there's some cool micro trainers on battle.net like darglein's micro trainer that give you scenarios to practice micro for all 3 races.
some asshole bronze keeps on telling how I'm going to bronze because im in top 50s
I keep on telling him that's because I don't play 1v1 much (I used to be top 10 silver)
does being in top 50 mean I'll have 99% chance of getting demoted?
He says hes better than me because hes in high bronze.
No.

You'd need to lose a lot to be demoted, but if you just haven't been playing you won't be demoted.

Just block him, he's an asshole.
I just went against roach/hydra zerg. I had observers at his main and natural, and while I was watching the observer to see what tech he was getting I saw a drone transfer to his third, so I did a quick warp in of stalkers and pushed out with 3 immortals, 2 collosi, like 14 stalkers and 6 zealots against his larger army of roaches and late morphed lings + mutas and I tore through them due to shield and 2/2 upgrades. I messaged him after the game saying he played a good game, and he said it wasn't a good game. He told me that I pissed him off by pushing just as he morphed drones for his third and that I was lucky, I told him I had two observers derping about above his main and natural, and he said "you had no clue so stfu." and then rq the Starcraft client. What the fuck is up with bronze players?

Also I'm liking the new ladder maps.
Hahahahahaha "High Bronze" Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. And I thought that it was good when a guy was bragging to me about being in "High Gold".
No, rank doesn't mean shit, if you don't play you will have a low rank, since you will have no points, it does not determine wether nor not you will be demoted unless you played a bunch of games, lost them all and have no points because of that. Your MMR won't randomly fluctuate if you are not playing any games.
I'm "low" masters.
Basically means I don't ladder but my MMR is high enough to get me into masters.
Points will always increase if you spend your bonus pool and you win 50% of the time.
we goto same school and we have a starcraft club![]()
I'm sorry.
whoa it looks like you guys have a lot of people.
No one is also artistic enough to make something like that too.
A bunch of girls signed having no idea what it was. It's not obligatory to show up after you sign up for something so we have about 15 regulars I'd say. We play Brood War and occasionally AoE2.
Why does this thread scroll so fast now, I remember last version only went 4 posts a day.
Most of the Koreans left because no one played Brood War. I'm one of the few koreans left in the club
there is this one girl, but all she does it look at facebook with proxy.
New Season - I'm Rank 1 Masters, that obviously means I'm good. Even though I have one win, one loss so far.
Cause Ranks mean everything.
A lot of new people have come here, so I'm guessing that's why![]()
This league thing is retarded as fuck. I suck at this game completely, I haven't won a single game (apart from when people are leaving the game the second it stars) but somehow I'm on top of silver league. Like I'm gonna win a single game there.
Tuned into IdrA's stream, 10seconds later I saw him get 3pylon bloced, the moment 3rd pylon got up, he left.
HAHAHAHA
IdrA in a nutshell.
Any Zerg in a nutshell :/ That is just so frustrating when it happens because you know that if it had been an MLG or GSL map that would never have happened, and overall it is just a big waste of time.
He could have just stacked drones, broke the wall and gg IdrA wins he's so stupid when he just leaves games
He'd be a damn good player if he didn't rage
Guys, I just got Plat! :D
I got silver but I just started playing 3 weeks ago and was in bronze, but I get matched with golds pretty often
More people post here now that they don't have to fear the rage of Lord Voldemort.
Keep going!
I think Starcraft is one of the few games that can actually exhilarate me to an extent that it affects my heartbeat greatly, giving me such an awesome feel of accomplishment when I win a match.
It is also one of the few games that frustrates and angers me to no end when I lose. I had to stop because of the latter, shit fucked me up.
I don't play SC2 often, but I played a few games last week and just did my placement.
thanks blizz
