I don't understand, are you mad about being rank 100? Because you don't start with points when you get placed.I don't play SC2 often, but I played a few games last week and just did my placement.

It's just a kick in the teeth, I play a few games and do well, and then when I get a chance to get a better placement, I just get Bronze again.

You wouldn't have been promoted doing your placement unless you were about to be promoted anyways.

I used to do a 2-3 bunker block in TvZ a long time ago when the maps were that bad. Sometimes I would use Engibays because they have double the hp and build twice as fast.

League doesn't matter, only MMR does. I don't know why Blizzard would cater to noobs by removing losses from your profile but still keep in leagues to give people a false sense of entitlement. Just keep playing, either you'll get better or your opponents will get worse.
I don't think that works anymore, I saw Destiny complaining about it.

Really? Because drones still stack but I've never had to use it to get out of a pylon block, I've used it defensively to get a surround on 4 early zergling rushes but that's different since it's not just concentrating lots of attacks on one thing

I think I will make a concerted effort to get back into 1v1s this season.
"One a day minimum" worked well for a few months. Think I'll go back to that.

I think I'll buy this, but I'll try the demo first just in case.
I like playing strategy games but my main weakness is basically that I'm "afraid to attack". I always worry about losing units and stuff and that's why I'm weak 1 v 1. Tho when I play with some friend of mine, I absolutely dominate in Warhammer Dark Crusade, because I mainly play Tau and they're focused on range units so they don't receive any damage. Same thing happens in MOBA games, I never play melee heroes.
I really need to fix myself.

Is it weird that I know my Zerg is far better than my terran (even if I barely practice it) because it fits my playstyle more, yet I still only play terran because I prefer the faction aesthetics

Is that when a toss puts 3 pylons outside of his ramp to prevent a fast expand or something?

Yes, it's not the hardest thing to stop, against zerg it can put them really far behind because they have to expand quickly

Some zergs seem to think 3 pylon block = instant lose, but that's not always the case, really. It just puts you behind.

The thing is if you went fast pool then this is an insta lose for the protoss since they wasted 300 or more minerals in just trying to block you off with pylons

You can just stay on 1 base and outright win with Nydused Hydras if he expanded.

Haha some protoss cannon rushed me and I thought I was fucked but I kept playing anyway. He built about 5 cannons around my main but suspiciously not blocking my ramp and I got some lings out to destroy a pylon at my natural before cannons got placed there and I expanded to my natural and built a spire.
So now he has 3 pylons and 5 useless cannons sitting in my main which can't hit shit.
I keep playing on and the guy is playing REALLY defensive, he has cannons literally everywhere in his base so my tech to mutalisk was pretty useless since he's now pumping out void rays as well. I tech to infestors and corruptors and expand in the mean time. Many long minutes later and I have expanded to 5 bases and he's sitting on 3 with the 3rd being harassed by infestors, I actually manage to crack some of his turtle on the 3rd and wipe out a lot of his void rays with infested terrans and clean up with corruptors. By now I have a brood lord and corruptor army and I'm fucking EVERYTHING up and basically ends in a bse race which I win because I'm floating 8k minerals and 4k gas so I just use leftover drones from my destroyed bases to spam hatcheries whicle I clean up his revealed buildings.
I wanted to BM him so hard after the match

I've never lost in a cannon rush and I hope to stay that way.
Well, I guess failed cannon rush, but I wasn't so far behind and won.
so I've cannoned rushed at least 5~10 times in league

Cannon rushes aren't a big problem for you as much as zerg though because zerg have to expand and can't just 1 base a game unless they're cheesing

Not to mention you can't build on creep, the worst a cannon rush can do is keep you contained for a bit.

Plus, guy plays all 3 races on master league in korea, how insane is that? I hope he gets into a big foreign team, like Empire or Liquid

Oh my god the next season is going to be awesome, Xel Naga Caverns is FINALLY going to be removed (and Arid Plateau but I don't consider that a real map), and we are getting Cloud Kingdom, and Korhal Compound!

A lot of people worship Destiny as like the best zerg player ever but he's far from it. He's definitely the most creative and entertaining zerg player but nowhere near the best, if you watch his videos his micro is often sloppy but his macro is top notch

Who said he's the most creative? He used mass infestor instead of mutas, and that's pretty much it. TLO is much more experimental with zerg than he ever was.

This. People only worships Destiny because he used to be really entertaining to watch. These days he's always like "lol sc2 sux" "imma play LoL instead" and not being as entertaining as he used to be. These days he gets like 2.5k viewers, where he used to get like 4k.

After the nerf he stopped playing SC2 most of the time and moved to LoL, which sucks because I like watching him play SC2, not LoL.

Destiny has lost a lot of popularity recently, mostly from moving to own3d from Twitch, and getting into that lawsuit because of Nujabes' music so now his stream is really quiet. Didn't he also have to stop being so BM because it gave own3d a bad image or something? Because now he can go a whole hour without saying a word. It's kind of sad to see how much he has changed.
