Does anyone play a lot of 2v2? Care to discuss some common strats you like?
When I have a premade team with my friend we sometimes go Terran/Toss with 1base collossus and mass rine, 111 tank marine banshee combined with 3gate robo, or siege expand. We are in Platinum league, we could probably hit Diamond if we tried but we're content chilling in Plat.

When I did 2v2 my partner was Zerg, we'd mass an army, look at theirs, we would put a Nydus in one of their bases(i wouldn't release my units, but he would), and when they send all their units to take care of it i put one in the other base.

They are but they're countered super easy

Mass ling is actually really hard to deal with when you have no Templar, and it is always stupidly effective to do ling runbys with them, surround units with them, and snipe expansions with them, lings are awesome.

Lings are like marines, in the right situation and well upgraded they absolutely decimate everything.
In the wrong situation they just get raped harder than anything else.

Marines are not comparable to lings
Marines are ranged so they can ball up and all attack at once without having to surround as much as lings do
Marines can shoot air units
Marines can stim
Marines can kite
Lings can A move
