i'm working on (another) mapping project with a couple of friends. i've been hunting through the files, but i want to know
where can i find the silhouetted version of the time eater? (of course i'll only be using it as a dynamic model). i want to nab it and use it in the opening cutscene of this next project.
anyone who has decompiled the .cpks (i.e. the porters in this thread), can you tell me which .cpk it's stored in?
the silhouette i'm speaking of is in this cutscene
and possibly where i can nab the music from that scene?
now the only thing i need to figure out is where to nab that .model importer. i remember finding it somewhere, but where..
could anybody help me in finding that importer for 3dsmax?

aw darn. gonna have to make the anims myself..oh well. all I really need is the portal opening anim and some sort of summoning anim. hope they turn out well, im bad at anims :c

i compiled this using the tf2 compiler, but when i opened the model in tf2, the model was 100% working etc
however, i copy-paste it over to portal 2 and his entire right hand is missing along with the fingertips of his left hand. any help?
I dont know if anybody is willing to do this but if S4E2 is released can somebody make ragdolls for in gmod
What are you talking about OF COURSE someone's going to port the s4e2 models.
Eh... I guess we'll just wait for someone at Sonic Retro to find a way to extract the models like they did with S4E1...

damn it, i should've seen it coming that portal 2 wouldn't like a 28k poly model :c
Well if someone ripped the models and make ragdolls of it, it would be nice to make a link to it
it turns out the time eater was 31k. i made a false calculation yesterday. i just tried optimizing it and got it down to 27k polies, but it still won't load. i'm going to have to find a way to get it lower; maybe about 22k, which is chell's model.
I'd like to see it's profile on the character section of Sonic's Room, in place of Classic Metal Sonic (NOTE: Not the Statue Room)

So you re-worked the .zno to work with episode 1, I get it now. But where'd you get the .zno ripper? Im not asking for a download, I just didn't know one existed.
