It does suck it is White exclusive, and most trades for it require bullshit ones(reshi/zek/kyurem 9 and under).

But there are a few that aren't BS.

Yeah it's annoying as fuck to train up a Sandile, send it out front, first Pokémon from the first trainer? A fucking flying type.

The one I had used a different type attack, it had more than ground. She lost easily.

Just beat Red on Soul Silver with only one pokemon in the level 70 range, the rest were 40, 62, 30, 22 (caught a larvitar on the way up) and 50. My strategy ended up being attack, get killed, heal, get killed, heal, repeat. I think the hail ended up doing most of the work for me.

The whole thing was time consuming and weird.

Bulbasaur's out. I can't decide whether I want Charizard or Blastoise. Charizard has a pretty good Black/White moveset (for when I get my 3DS tomorrow and do some PokeTransfers), but that 4x weakness to rock is discouraging.

Pokémon AR Searcher

The Nintendo Direct showcase has just revealed two new 3DS eShop download software. First, is Pokémon AR Searcher, a new Augmented Reality game downloadable on the eShop where you search around for various Pokémon. These Pokémon can then be sent to your Black 2 & White 2 games. It is due for release on June 23rd in Japan for 300 Yen



Pokédex 3D Pro

In addition to that, Pokédex 3D Pro has also been revealed. This 3DS download will contain the various non-Unova Pokémon and will also feature Augmented Reality features. In addition to the non-Unova Pokémon, it also includes the new forms introduced in Black 2 & White 2: Black Kyurem & White Kyurem. It's due for release on July 14th for 1500 Yen

In a way, the AR Searcher is a 3DS exclusive feature for Black 2 and White 2, I guess.

More than one region is not that good. Remember Johto's 7th gym being bordered by lv. 15 Pokemon, and the ace of the leader being lv.33. And, by the third region, you'd be already Lv.70 or so, and you'll just steamroll everything from there on.

TCG talk, I went to an anime expo today and saw the area where the trading card battles take place. I didn't think to bring my cards so I just randomly purchased a Escavalier theme deck.

Ended up winning three matches and lost to one against people that seriously customized themselves some strong decks, overall quite pleased with the outcome.

Since they made all of the overworld sprites for all the pokemon in HG/SS, why does their sprite change to an obscure whale-like thing when you use surf?

Remember, the Red Gyarados and Lapras use different sprites than the following one when you find them in the overworld. You'd have to double the ammount of sprites of Surf-knowing Pokemon to do that, and taking Waterfall and Pokemon knowing surf by unintended means would mean trouble.

Depends of the kind of team you want to build. Dunsparce is good at para-flinching, Lickitung is more versatile (Can be a wish user, tank, bulky mixed attacker, weather blocker if it has Cloud Nine...). IMO Lickitung is a better choice

Neither are too great. Linoone, Porygon2/Z, Ambipom, Lopunny, are my reccommendations.
