Okay yeah if you don't know what Call of Duty is by now, then here:
So far there have been 8 CoDs.
Call of Duty
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty 3
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops
and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
I dunno, did we have rules before? Either way..
1. No spamming, pretty much known by now
2. If you come in here to flame, fuck off because you will be overwhelmed by us COD fanboys
3. If somebody is flaming just report and move on
4. No trolling (lol you'll all do it anyway so fuck it)
5. We don't care that Battlefield is 999% better, go back to YOUR thread and brag there.

Almost 6th prestige, it's gonna be tight. Currently have a gold Scar and PP90.

Almost hit prestige 1 in modern warfare 3, I can't unlock those class slots fast enough.

Call of Duty 1 + UO, 2, and CoD4 are the only games in the series even worth mentioning.

Unfortunately, you don't unlock classes for prestiging. Unless you're talking about using a prestige token on one.

What do you guys think? I don't know if I should release it to the public or not, I can imagine it could be worse than ambient occlusion some times, especially with the plants.
Just need some opinions. It also works on Black Ops and I'm pretty sure MW3 as well.
It could, however, be used by people who don't have very good computers and want to play recent CoD games.
Also, sorry for only rendering it in 480P. Couldn't be bothered uploading something bigger than 100 mb, 'cause I have crappy internet, so I just uploaded it in 480P.

Throwing boxes on the ground is the epitome of teamwork in the Battlefield series.

I don't think I'll ever list Call of Duty as a "fast paced" game, that title is reserved for games like Quake and Unreal Tournament.
Sometimes CoD seems to only be as fast-paced as pressing the sprint button allows.

In relation to most games that come out today it's fast paced.

No idea about BF3, because in all honesty, i have never played it, but for all BF games before Bad Company, yeah, they really are.
Although this isn't always a bad thing, Unreal Tournament is one of my favorite shooters of all time, and it's not exactly a game where teamwork is the biggest concern.
Let's face it, modern shooters are SLOW, and compared to all these slow paced shooters, CoD really is very fast paced. Again, this is not a bad thing, fast paced shooters are usually very fun.

Which weapon looks best with gold camo?
I currently have a Gold Mp7, Gold Type 95 and a soon to be gold Striker.
I dunno which weapon to make gold next.

If there is a Desert Eagle, always that.
And also a revolver of some sort.

Secondaries can't get camo sadly. The only gun to do that is in CoD4 and it's the Desert Eagle.

I just finished MW3's SP. To be honest, if was pretty fun. It was full of fireworks and explosions; It was (not surprisingly) pretty short, as it took me 4-5 hours (I opened the game 2 times and I finished it the second time). It felt pretty good to be honest.

Played MW3 at my friends house this weekend.
It was pretty much what I expected, MW2 with some neat little extras tacked on. The SP seems quite fun, the spec ops missions are very interesting and entertaining, and the multiplayer is exactly what you'd expect out of another CoD game.
It has quite a bit added to it despite what people usually say about them not changing much. I wouldn't pay $60 for it, but it's well worth the price if it goes down to $30-$45

Agreeing with this, if Spec Ops was released by itself, I'd likely purchase that for £10-£15, if there was new content that was free or laughably cheap.

I found MW3 to be fairly blehrg. I find myself going back to Black Ops a lot.

If I recall correctly, that is merely one of the fullbright modes to show you how light is diffusing in your maps. It isn't meant for gameplay, and is considered a "cheat" command (exactly the same as in Source). Not sure how messing with ATi Tray Tools managed to force it on, but it isn't exactly fit for playing with unless you can tell white from slightly less white
Also i already complained in the BF3 thread about this. If you are going to make a megathread thread, put some fucking effort into the OP, the current one is a disgrace.

it's sometimes called the "lighting mode", it's *basically* no textures, not less detailed
not much different than what I used this video.

Well I realized one thing after beating MW3's campaign, it's that Makarov makes a damn good chandelier if you ask me.

Drop Zone is the funnest game mode I've played in a recent CoD game. It's really too bad people are rarely playing it and I end up on servers on the other side of the country.
Heresy! You left out United Offensive! That was the best CoD game EVER.
