Max got himself banned for the rest of the lottery. For like the 20th time.

T1 items that can be built by players are being removed from loot/drop tables, and drone region NPCs won't be bleeding minerals anymore. This means that miners will be the primary source of minerals now, and with all the botters getting their asses kicked in by CCP, the market is not ready for this. Last time CCP checked just before 2010, miners only contributed 40% of the total mineral amount into the universe. That has likely gone up a bit since Wormholes, but I wouldn't put it much past 50%... and that is ridiculous.
EDIT: When did Unholy Rage happen? If it was after these numbers were pulled that could mean mining is actually down from 40%.

also maybe want to look back into Reactive metals , I was making them on a wim and then decided to abandon the colony it cost 130K to get the units off world and then sold them for 598k, there's a business there.

Do you mean will I restrict the lottery prizes to only those who haven't yet won? Or do you mean, will I give prizes to everyone who hasn't won?
Both cases, no. I want to keep the lottery winners unbiased; anyone who can rate and send me an EVE character to receive the prize is eligible, regardless of what they've won. As to the second, there are too many people to account for if I were to hand out something to everyone. If I did do that, the prize would be leftover crap that you wouldn't want anyway.

Well that doesn't sound very good seeing as I'm going to be moving into a wormhole with some old friends in about a week.

This is true, and if it's not a full siege, it'll be a fleet of tengu's or some higher class assholes.
I can't tell you how many ships i've lost securing our HS only to have some assholes in a c5 come pouring through with 30 tengu's. We eventually learned to stop putting up bubbles and just let them do their fuel run, or close their wh immediately.

C2 static highsec/C4, cataclysmic effect. Been living here for 2+ years. It's getting real shooty now, had narwhals come in and do bombing runs at the people bashing the pos, have the 0rphanage and double tap wardecing transmission lost. We aren't going down without a fight, and it's going to be pretty epic.

Best thing you can do is not drop a POS somewhere you can't handle. Anything with a C4+ static or a magnetar is dicey if you're in a small/inactive alliance. With the latter, a patient subcap gang can reinforce a POS and rapecage it from there. Obey that rule, dickstar the occasional pos and things can go alright. We held on to a C4 with a null static for about a year and we only ditched it after finding a better one.

If I setup a scanning filter for just X. Will it filter results before I've done scanning on them? or do I have to scan them to a certain point first?

I'm just going to join up with some guys that used to be in my alliance. They already have several POS set up and even a few caps in a C5 with a static C1. Not sure what the name for it is but it gives a buff to armor and I think a minus to shields.

One time someone put a tower in our alt/fuel C2 and hired mercs to evict us. We thought we'd have to just let it go but that was very much not the outcome.
